December 23, 201015 yr Moderator Next year sale? You bet the 707 will be 9.99! :)Cool, see you then for the 707.BTW, what's going on with the F-104? I saw a thread a while back that said you were going to do an FSX version of the F-104, but then it came to pass that the 737 was your next project. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
December 23, 201015 yr Would love to have the 707, but 99% of my flying is in the ORBX west coast scenery and there is no way my rig could handle that plane going into the likes of Seattle or Vancouver. Bummer. But I'll bet you can land that C-130 all over the place. :( ___________________________I'm just flying for the fun of it.

December 23, 201015 yr Our mistake. Now it's corrected, but a few lucky people managed to get them for 9.99 :)Oh my God, oh my God!! i can't beleive that i missed that :(i wished that this morning and my wish come true but i missed :DYou lucky.. :D Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
December 23, 201015 yr Well, that glitch evidently explains how I was able to get the BUFF for 9.99 a little earlier (that's pretty nice, especially at the wrong price LOL). Still, I paid the full normal price for their FSX 707 some time back even though I could theoretically have had a freebie of the 707 since I'm reviewing that for Avsim, so I guess that's my karma to get a B-52 for a tenner, and CS still up on the deal as far as my bank balance is concerned. In answer to several questions re the 727, the 727 is indeed a very nice thing, and were it not for the fact that you have to tweak it a bit to get the trim less fierce (easy enough to do, but you shouldn't have to), I'd have probably recommended it for some sort of Avsim gong when I reviewed it (that was the boxed JF edition incidentally, not the CS website download, and that does differ ever so slightly from the download even though the aircraft itself which you get is basically the same).I'm still checking out various aspects of the 707 for the Avsim review, but even with currently limited experience of the thing I think it's well worth having and certainly a bargain given the complexity of the systems it models. I'm awaiting the arrival of a genuine Boeing 707 training manual which I bought from ESSCO the other day (which was evidently posted today according to an email I just received), that's so I can make a more accurate comparison before actually writing stuff up, which is basically what I did when reviewing the 727 by using a couple of Boeing manuals which I bought. So if you thought reviewing was all getting freebie stuff, well it ain't LOL! At least not if you want to do it properly, because 707 technical info is surprisingly thin on the ground in spite of it being a classic.Anyway, back on topic, good on CS for having another sale, and if anyone is undecided on any of those old jets such as the 727 and the 707, then you might want to consider their C-130 instead, because that's an absolutely fantastic FS add-on.And what with them now making a 737-200, CS is rapidly becoming my favourite developer. Old aeroplanes need love too you know :( Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

December 23, 201015 yr Found the new sale info on the site this morning... apparently the store was down for a while due to traffic loads but OK now. I just picked up the 707... Thanks CaptainSim.
