I have a solution for the antilag full screen exit/enter problem: dexpot (a virtual window manager). So far it seems to work.I start FSX in full screen mode on desktop 1, then switch to desktop 2 with a keyboard shortcut. I then have full use of windowed apps without FSX exiting from full screen mode. When I switch back to desktop 1, FSX is back as it was before within seconds. You never have to exit full screen mode, because you can run all your non full screen FSX applications on desktop 2+ where there are no full screen apps running and have full use of windows.

Me too, so I just use alt-enter. :(

Funny, I just posted about my years-long alt-tab problem, then this week i found the solutionAutohotkey + script. I just go windowed mode and it drags the corners to fullscreen. Also gets rid of the FPS drop I get in windowed mode! Instant alt-tab now AND i can use my 2nd monitor :(

When you get black screen just press CTRL+ALT+DEL and than ESC. Picture back to normal. Have fun!

Well i sure hope that an actual fix can be found for this problem because outside of this, i am impressed with the results. It really does keep a better control of the frame rates and i think, a better performance bonus than the original fps limiter. Secondly, since upgrading my rig and reinstalling W7-64bit, no matter how i try, i cannot install Java. So i am waiting and hoping.

When I start a flight, I can't have more than 20 FPS in all situation (little aircraft, big city, big plane, payware etc ) I have everytime 20FPS ( or 19.8 ).When I disable antilag, and set FPS on FSX to 60, my FPS alternate btw 40 and 60 ...Please help me, I know that 20 FPS is smooth, but I prefere to have 30.You will be welcome.

Haven't used this limiter for a little while due to the black screen issue, but from what i remember there is a config setting for this limiter than sets what you want the limiter to limit your FPS to. Correct me if i'm wrong anybody. If the black screen issue can be corrected, this is the best limiter so far.

I completely agree with you. The problem was a 20FPS limitation with a 30 FPS file limitation oO ( good luke to understand that :( )ie when I set FSX to unlimited and the FPS to 30, I get a maximum of 20FPS.But I fix this problem ( which wasn't ) with a good optimization of my settings. Now, 30FPS in all configuration. Can't wait to see if I will run the NGX at 30FPS =)

HELLO,i am new to this can you help,i have downloaded Keijo "Kegetys FPS limiter as the final part of the re fig the cfg process and it says To install, put the d3d9.dll and antilag.cfg to thegames executable directory.where is this please?the reason i am trying to install this external limiter is because at the top of this post it says its the best one.many thanks as alwaysjames.

The games executable directory is the place where your FSX.exe resides, James. Do a windows search to find out where it is. You must know where you installed your flight sim - the icon you click to start the sim will also tell you.

Thanks paul,do i just put them into the folder..... microsoft flight simulator x that has lots of folders inside and they would show up at the bottom of the page say next to the api.dll and atc.dllect,sorry paul,when i buy aircraft i just click the exe and make sure it shows programe file (x86) and thats it.?.if it does go in there why dont they just say put it in the microsoft flight simulator x folder if you have FSXthanks paul please confirm...

Yup - just put them there - that's the root folder. Last file is WaterConstants.xml. When you buy an aircraft, it just needs to know where the fsx home is - so that it can interact with fsx.exe.. it may, or may not install some files inside the root folder - or it may not.
