Yup - just put them there - that's the root folder. Last file is WaterConstants.xml. When you buy an aircraft, it just needs to know where the fsx home is - so that it can interact with fsx.exe.. it may, or may not install some files inside the root folder - or it may not.
Hi Paul I noticed earlier your post re the tripleh2go and theblack screens I also run the 3h2go and I have tried to you the antilag limiter. It seems to work OK in windowed modw and "sometimes" in fullscreen mode Have you overcome your black screen issue or just continue using task manager to deal with it? I am runningw7 x64 ultimateAMD 1090Tasus GTX 58016G DDR2 RAM also have yo uplayed with the frame limiter from ******* site - thats the one which has the gui.jar file attached? I cant find any install instructions and I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to that. Any idreas as I would like to try that one too.

Hi Bob; the Antilag limiter held frames 'loosely' around/above 32 - but with black screens, and the FPSLimiter02 only worked for the first flight - or at least sporadically. I read somewhere (I think one of *******'s posts) that the GUI version doesn't work with the 64-bit version of Win7 - which I have, and yes - I played with 02 many, many times. Other 'black screens' - for me - happened a long time ago, and the cause there was the ATI Tool, used when trying to stop my old ATI 5870 vsync problem, and ******* fixed that when he found ForceFullScreenVSync=1. The only other time I've had a black screen has been caused by the Win7 version of the UIAutomationCore.dll, and that's been fixed for a couple of years now. The answer to all these fps problems is just sheer horsepower. Running at 4.8-gig allows 30fps almost almost everywhere, with Seattle city area in the low 20's.

Hi !! this is my first post!! i´ve been using this limiter since two weeks, my fsx its more smooth ..... but i´ve noticed that my fps its jumping always ..... 40 50 70 20 40 ... almost never its stable, ..... frame ahead are in the value of 2.... and locked in 30fps, in the sim ... unlimited.. ... my sim its better no doubt of that..... its normal the jumping fps Sorry for my english !!Robert Bernard

i´ve noticed that my fps its jumping always ..... 40 50 70 20 40 .
..then the limiter isn't working, is it, Robert? If it was working you would see that the frames are very stable, around the 29-30-31 area... Try the FPS_Limiter_02.

Tried Anilag but got a black screen when switching to Full Screen mode. I have removed the two files and gone back to the original Frame Rate Limiter but now I am getting a black screen as well with it. This was not happening before. Anybody have ideas on how to fix? Mark.

Please - DO NOT remove UIAutomationCore.dll! You will cripple any app that requires it. Simply download the Vista 32-bit version from here:- Go to this site, and download the file. The version number should be 6.0.5840.16386. Place it into the root folder of FSX. DON'T put it anywhere else. It does not need to be registered. The default Win7 version of this file was not tested in FSX by the ACES team; It is in the System32 folder, and sometimes doesn't play well with FSX.

"Just unzip, edit the antilag.cfg file to set your FPSLimit and place both files INSIDE your FSX root folder" done ! Is that normal to have fps reaching figures well above 30 (32 even 38) when 30 has been set as the limit in the antilag.cfg file ?

No - but I never had the Antilag app work at any time - ever. It never held 30, and so I went back to the original FPS_Limiter, and once I got the darned thing figured out - it worked like a charm.
