Would you like to call Boeing and ask them then? Do you honestly think this is something we'd lie about in public? If those dimensions aren't right, then the data they gave us isn't right - it matches the engineering drawings.
I think he was just messing with you. Don't let the nitpickers get under your skin, although I know it's incredibly hard given some of the off-the-wall comments on here. You guys are doing a fabulous job and the majority of us are patiently, but eagerly awaiting the chance to start flying this baby.

I was playing around with my FSX settings today, to see what framerates I could get with the MD11. I have a Dell Studio XPS 8100, with a I7-860 (2.80GHz) processor, 8G DDR3 SDRAM, and ATI Radeon HD5670 video card. Among other things, I moved the scenery complexity slider to "extremely dense". and the target frame rate slider to "unlimited". I seem to be getting a 25-30 frame rate at Seattle and Frankfurt (default scenery). I did notice that on the runways at both airports, the ground seems to flicker/flash at the intersections to the runway and intersecting runways/taxiways. Is this an FSX issue, or something to do with my settings? I'll be the first to admit I dont understand what most of those settings are supposed to accomplish. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. I'm especially looking with anything that will explain all of the different settings and what parameters I should use.(edit) PS.....I havent loaded any other add-on programs yet, like ASA/REX.

Are you running DirectX 10 Preview in FSX? If so, try disabling it. That should help.

Yes, I was. I turned it off, and that flashing issue went away. ThanksI am noticing that the runways/taxiways in the distance are a bit wavy....kind of like looking at asphalt on a very hot day. Nothing major, but again who knows what my settings are doing to the sim?

I just re-read my post and it was unclear. What I meant was, I have a very good REX profile (ie. textures for clouds, water, sun, sky, runway, etc). If you want me to send you a message with my settings I will.

Sounds like lack of AA... If you have an Nvidia card, read the stickied thread here:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/
