It will certainly help you with setting the aircraft up for an autoland but physically landing is way different than in the sim. Before I had gotten my PPL, I had been simming for almost 10 years. I basically had to brake all these bad/incorrect habits I developed. After you learn it in the real aircraft however, it's actually easier than a sim. When I went on to my instument training, I HATED the sim I had to use as part of my program.

What kind of bad habits? Anything you should watch out for if your ambition is to become a commercial and/or private pilot?

Hello,I have a small question and I'm sorry if this has been asked (and maybe answered) before.Will the 737NGX overcome the FSX limitation that until now has prevented us from taxying realistically ? By that I mean with idle thrust ?Not that it would ruin the whole thing if it didn't - nothing even close to that actually - but I find that every little bit counts.Looking forward to the release.Cheers

Vision usually isn't a problem as long it's corrected by glasses. You might have a requirement on your licence to always have your glasses with you while flying. As for cancer, it would depend on the type and where a person is at in the treatment. Usually regualtory authorities like the FAA or Transport Canada have a section of their website dedicated to civil aviation medicine that provides some questions like this though the final clearance would rest with an aviation medical examiner.

As 737NGX is being tested now for a while with all its systems is there any further indication how frames are comparing with the MD-11?Thanks,Christos
