Hi guys, this is a question which existed a long time in my brain and now I found the time to ask. Further down you can tell why you fly what you fly. Thanks for talking part of this poll.

Best regards, Steffen

X-Plane 9, but I'm too stupid to get it off the ground properly!Waiting for the new XP 10, maybe that's more userfriendly, but I doubt it...

Whenever you ask a question like this, don't forget to add X-Plane, while it's not my cup of tea, many here prefer it. Also since this is really a general FS simulation post, this really should be moved to hangar chat.

Thanks

Tom

Damn, can´t edit it anymore, so everyone who also flies DCS, please choose the il-2 instead, cause that incorporates all combat simulators.BTW: DCS looks interesting.

Well, while waiting for my copy of IL-2, I'm flying Attack on Pearl Harbor. Yep, you've guessed it, the controls and realism factors are sub-par. Dave.

Great idea, but you also for got LockOn Modern Combat series. I fly this and the DCS A-10. I fly FSX 99% of the time.

It seems that most of you only fly FSX. Do you all have this kind of monster gaming SB 4+ GHz systems?

I've put more hours in IL-2 than any other sim; I'm still active in my online squad, though that is the only time I play it lately. Rise of Flight, a state of the art WW1 air combat sim, gets about 50/50 airtime along with FSX at this time. Tried LockOn and just could not get past the 'electronic' warfare aspect, while RoF is its antithesis and I love it (trying to get my squad to convert to it). Flirting with going 'heavy' with FSX and getting onto VATSIM (that PMDG 737 NGX might do the trick).
