February 6, 201115 yr I have read about these two products and in the process of buying one of them. Both seemed to be very good but I need to know which one is the better one and need some opinions from flightsimmers who have bought either one.If you can help me with your comments it would help me a great deal. Thanks Kimmer :(
February 6, 201115 yr I recently purchased the iFly 737 and just love it. (currently AMX647 to MMMX)I owned the PMDG offering for years and enjoyed it immensely. But I'd have to suggest the iFly for the simple fact that PMDG is no longer interested in FS9 so that product is dead IMHO.iFlys support is amazing and they're already working on more updates and a feature pack to better an already amazing product. February 7, 201115 yr PMDG's FS9 offering was made years ago originally for FS2k2. iFly's model is a totally new design still being refined with the latest technologies, you make the call... :( FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

February 7, 201115 yr Hi,I have both.PMDG was and still is a very good 737NG but it has been surpassed by the iFly offering. The iFly NG still has some rough edges, but systems and graphics wise it is better then the PMDG. February 7, 201115 yr Also taking into account price, you get far more with the iFly 737NG. February 7, 201115 yr +1, 100%I also have both. The PMDG was great in it's day but now it is parked in the Old Plane Parking lot. IFly is a great product with some of the best support you'll find.
February 7, 201115 yr Author Thanks everyone for your comments and I'll think that I will be in the process of buying iFlyNG.It seems to have better support than the other one. It's good to know that you can come to the forum and get different opinons on products from flightsimmers like me.Thanks Kimmer :(
February 7, 201115 yr you wont regret it Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.
February 8, 201115 yr Look no further than IFly. Great systems modeling. Great exterior and VC. Support by Steve and the IFly team cannot be beat. Just awsome all the way around. Bobby Arnold
February 8, 201115 yr I've been flying the PMDG-737 (in 2D cockpit) for 5 years and I can say it is a total delight. It's my 2nd favourite plane (first the LD-767, third the PMDG-747).The Ifly 737 hasn't a 2D cockpit, has it ?. There is something like a "frozen" forward view of the VC instead, isn't there ?.Can you pop-zoom the screens ?, they seem to be very small (for laptop flyers like me). signed: José Luis
February 8, 201115 yr The Ifly 737 hasn't a 2D cockpit, has it ?. There is something like a "frozen" forward view of the VC instead, isn't there ?.That's incorrect. It does have a 2D cockpit. This old 2D Luddite wouldn't have purchased it otherwise. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
