AIRCRAFT WISH LIST COMES TRUE

Intresting. I would of liked to see a slower aircraft, as everything Carenado is making these days has an average speed over 120knots and are twin engines...
I feel that Carenado has been broadening their horizons lately, and I think it's great! They have a great product line that is well diversified and fairly priced. As a buisness owner, I would have failed years ago if I haden't expanded on what I was selling. Now, I am a leader in my industry due to the fact I have so many different services, and products to offer instead of just being a "case builder" Carenado has a lot of fans of their products. Some like the small/simple 152 and some like the more complex type aircraft like the C90. Each release has it's fans or followers. Have a look at the upcoming releases page! There is something for everyone of us on that page. I would love to see Carenado do an ultralite right up to a Citation Soverign and everything in between. Bottom line is, If you don't like it, don't buy it! just don't critisize them for being diverse. (just my opinion)

Well said, its important to be diverse. It is so unconstructive when someone have to put some kind of negative comment about a project a company is doing. Just be glad that there is someone out there with the talent to do these projects.

John-I think it is a bit hard to say that my comment was 'negative' - mine was just my personal opinon. Everybody is entiled to that, right?

What's the problem with these two ??? I can't see much room for improvement with the 152 and 172
Maybe the flight characteristics are spot on , but the texture mapping ( for we painters ) is a disaster .Both the C152 & C172 have 1 fuselage , so any text is shown mirrored on one side The area " allowed " for the registration on the tailboom is tiny and is even smaller then the area shown on the texture sheet .On the C172 it is not possible for any text on the tailfin . Will result in mirrored text .Striping on the top of the tailboom ( have a look at the 50 years livery for the C172 ) , to a lesser extent on the C152 .There is no provision for the underwing registration ( even though it does exist on the texture sheet ) . Not an issue for America , but in Europe is found on every aircraft .I am no newbie to painting , I have several pages of repaints here on AVSIM ( and other sites ) and a large number of my repaints are for Carenado aircraft . To be quite honest I felt cheated ( especially ) with the C172 as a vast amount of repaints are just not possible for an accurate rendition of someones favourite aircraft . Just consider how many C152's & C172's there are in the real world . I would imagine that nearly every flight school has one or both of these types and that nearly everyone who has a pilots liscense has at some stage flown them too . I can tell you that nearly every paint that I have ( until now ) made of these models has had to be made with concessions and has not been 100% a copy of the original plane .Later Carenado models ( Archer , Mooney ) do not have these " problems " .Just my €0.02 worthJohn Glanville

Neither the 210 nor the 114 are twin engined planes.

Very true. Sorry Aidan I was not trying to single you out I just meant it as a general comment. :(

Really? I think a 350 would have fit much better with the Duke. I don't see any reason to buy this.
Well, why not? It has a nice shape and also PT6 engines, so it will be pritty the same in using. If I have the money, I think I´ll get it.OK, the 350 is in a whole other league but for myselfe I think it´s a bit too big, so this C90 is just right.

I believe that Carenado is adjusting correctly to the fltsim market and their philosphy of personal aircraft development. I have been buying their products since the FS9 days and continual amazed by their growth in their products. I occasionally fly a Piper Arrow and their reproduction is right on and I use it to practice my IFR procedures. The C-90 has alawys been a favorite and will be very interested in if Carenado will do "glass" or "steam" instruments.

The best would be that they make a little programm like RealAir did to change the cockpit layout and othe important things.

I think the C90 will be a great addition to their FSX lineup, but I agree having the option to include the Reality Xp GNS 530/430 like RealAir did would really add to the appeal for buying this aircraft Talking%20Ear%20Off.gif CheersMartin

Awesome news... I have been waiting for KA in whatever form. (even if it was a Queen Air) I am hoping that once you have the experience in building the C90 your next project will be the 350 (ala Bonanza) Carenado are going from strength to strength, I am cheering you on. (one tiny request, could you please start including layered paint kits) CheersButch

Very nice! Also wanted this one. Does this mean the quality will be raised for all future Carenado aircraft?
