I am hoping we get something this month. I thought for sure we would have seen something in April. The only new visuals that I have seen were in the latest PC Pilot and they looked pretty good except the over-sized trees still looked to be present.

IMHO Flight's trees look infinitely better than FSX's.

Agreed, I am eagerly waiting for more goodies. I've built a shrine where I sacrifice little planes made from toothpicks in the hope to appease the gods of Microsoft that they may give us some news.

I am likening most of us on this forum (me included) to a flock of mangy half starved, glinty eyed vultures, irritably flapping around and pecking on a skeletal carcass and on occasion each other. No wonder things around here have been getting a bit testy lately. Yup, you’re right we definitely need a succulent plumb juicy screen shot or three to whet our appetite. :(

If they "wanna" get this one right they better listen to all complain and rejoice on what they are doing right....now lets all praise the Lord for him to give them strength.

People were even complaining on things Microsoft did right. They simply don't take the time to understand what things actually make sense and what would actually happen. Not everyone will be pleased with 100% of the game. They will have to learn to live with it and enjoy the rest of it. You can't make something that will please the whole community....just a large group of it. Honestly, there's not much you could possibly, legitimately complain about yet, as Microsoft has only shown us some screenshots and videos which look quite nice. That's pretty much it. No solid material to make conclusions on that something is wrong. Flight clearly isn't even in beta yet, so there is still room for anything to change IMO.

What I should have said is MS should listen to our complain about FSX (not Flight) and not make some of the same mistake all over again from FSX to Flight.This is the part where the same mistake can be made..... we will take advantage of the expertise and existing elements of the existing FS code base and architecture where it fits...Now lets all .....:(

I doubt they worry even a moment, they have large shoulders. They are a conglomerate who've been around the block and they are unfazed by the usual group of malcontents that never have anything nice to say. Like I have said in the past, judge the product when it is released and not before. Personally I am looking forward to it and hopefully we'll have a look at it at the FANCON in October.

Oh boy. So if MS won't release screenshots because their feelings are hurt by complaints then they'd better not release FLIGHT at all then. Welcome to the REAL world. People complain. That's what humans do. You save 10 people from a burning building and you get blamed for overpopulation. You let 10 people die in a burning building and you get blamed for not doing anything to save lives. Sorry, but this has become a central theme here about "complaining" as if this is the first time Microsoft has heard a complaint? Please give me a break. 10 year old school children cry and pout when they are told something they don't like. I would imagine that Microsoft is not populated by school children or else they would have closed up shop and ran home crying after the utter beating they took after Windows Vista.How about the option that MS isn't releasing any new information simply because they have nothing new to release? :(
