What Scenery would you like in FSX?

I still have the ground polys, terrain, and photoscenery files on my computer. There were only few buildings to model for the airport. I can release it free if anyone is interested. It's at least far better than the fsx version because I also redraw the entire island. I made TQPF last year but lost many files containing the buildings.
I think I spoke with you sometime last year about beta testing the scenry then you had your unfortunate mishap with your computer. It's been a few years since I have flown in and out of Anguilla (AXA)but I am still willing to help if I can.

He made it himself I believe.
... maybe Vin could confirm. (I was also mentionning the land scenery, not especially the airport building). In any case, if you made the whole scenery yourself, are you planning to share it with us ?Greg

I feel like KEWR is being avoided by everyone for some reason.

If it is not IFR conditions it is not fun.

Imaginesim did one for FS2004 so hardly it is "being avoided".Another one of those mega airports - yawn, yawn :( Mega airport - more performance problems.I am glad Sagga set his eyes on a smaller airport (say class C), this class of airports has been severely lacking since the beginning of FS. Whatever his final choice - Tucson, San Diego, more power to him.

Speaking of sceneries....This is something that I generally don't see in FS sceneries, but see commonly IRL.These pictures are of KBHM, but I've seen it other places as well. What is it/what causes it? It is like the outline of a plane, but some gates don't have it while others do. Care to explain?BTW just so we're clear, I'm not talking about the striping on the ground, I'm talking about the dark splotches that seem to outline the tail and trailing edge of the wings.

KBHM is a nice airport that is busy enough. I could provide photos and info because I live nearby. Nobody has ever touched it, but it does have 737 presence with both SWA and DAL. Also, they are doing a big renovation that includes demolishing terminals A and B and rebuilding them from scratch, as well as a complete renovation of terminal C. Would be nice to have a FS BHM before the existing structures are no longer there.I took this picture because I didn't know when I would ever see a NWA Airlink paint again. Always loved that paint, the old and the new. Here you can see seven aircraft at terminal C. 4 CRJs; 1 MD88; and 2 737s.From wikipedia. Here you can also see seven aircraft. 1 DC9; 1 MD 80; 2 MD 88s; and 3 737s.Taken by me onboard NM1.Would be really cool if I could fly my SWA NGX into an accurately designed BHM!

Dear Vin,I have seen your beautiful posts of Air Algerie above Tamanrasset... living quite close to the area, could you tell us where this scenery comes from ?Thank youGreg
Hi Greg, and all....It's a pet project I've been working on. About every month, I find 3 minutes to put some work into it lol. Greg, pics of the airport are quite limited on the web. Since you live in the area, any chance of getting a few snap shots of the terminal and some of the other buildings?? Big%20Grin.gif

Yeah but that's the problem for fs2004, and if its a performance hog why did fsdreamteam develop kjfk and get good sales with that?

Hi Vin, I actually live on the Morocco side but will ask some Algerian collegues of mine to try to bypass security and get nice shots next time they fly there. :Big Grin:By the way, where did you get the land scenery we see below the Air Algerie shot ?Greg

What would I like to see in FSX?Palm Spring Intl - KPSPKSC, and I mean the whole place, not just the SLF and a token VAB.I real good Edwards AFB.and Orlando, KMCO.I would love it if an add-on dev would take a crack at Chicago-Executive, KPWK, but that is a bit of a reach to hope someone would want to try that. Unless Orbx makes there way into doing scenery for the incredibly dull Midwest of the USA. I would prefer if they went to the South West of USA.

Well, that would be a great help, just don't get in any trouble :)The land scenery I created using SBuilderX (a great little freeware utility)...
