May 29, 201115 yr I would love a good scenery for EKVG Vagar Airport at the Faroe Islands. With it's 1250 m runway its got to be one of the shortest for 737 operations. If my memory serves me right Maersk Air used to fly their 600 into Vagar. Payload restrictions of course, but doable never the less.http://www.slv.dk/Dokumenter/dsweb/Get/Document-622/EK_AD_2_EKVG_LLZ-DME-13_en.pdfCheers, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
May 29, 201115 yr I have finally decided to make San Diego Intl (KSAN).Clearly your choice, I was only hoping you could break a brand new ground and do an airport that was never even tried before. Best of luck. Michael J.
May 29, 201115 yr Author Clearly your choice, I was only hoping you could break a brand new ground and do an airport that was never even tried before. Best of luck.Thanks. I think it has not been done for FSX. And it's a cool airport plus it has nice approach as well. Sagga Toure
May 29, 201115 yr BTW, and this is just my opinion, counting KSAN among the 10 most difficult airports in the world is really a stretch of believability - I could understood why it could be counted among the "tougher" major-metropolitan airports but by any objective standards on the absolute scale it is far from difficult airport. Comparing to Juneau or Aspen or Unalaska it is really a 'featherweight'. :( Michael J.
May 29, 201115 yr NZWN - fairly short runway and always bumpy approach. Youtube it!Been done http://www.windowlight.co.nz/Nobody has ever done my home airport since fs2000, http://www.christchu...rtInformation/. New Terminal 3/4 completed. Heard a rumour that Orbx might do it after they release there NZ package.

Comparing to Juneau or Aspen or Unalaska it is really a 'featherweight'. :(Maybe it's because of the short runway and the congested traffic. I remember landing there on vatsim with a 767 auto-brake on 2 and ended up overrunning the runway! Sagga Toure

May 30, 201115 yr I'm with Ryan...Shez Ansari did a great rendition of the Burbank airport for FS9, and I miss it in FSX. I'd also love to see someone do Van Nuys airport. Lots of bizjets (including BBJs) go through there, especially with Santa Monica's pressure to keep jets away from their airport. May 30, 201115 yr I would like Narnia. But since that is unlikely, I'd settle for LEAM (Almeria).Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
May 30, 201115 yr FIMP Mauritius and or FSIA Seychelles. Both are located in Indian Ocean. A good scenery for FMMI Antananarivo in Madagascar is also missing for FSX. Stephane Li Location : FMEE
May 30, 201115 yr LGAV, Venizelos, Athens, Greece andLGTS, Makedonia Airport, Thessaloniki, GreeceTwo nice airports that were previously modelled beautifully by GAP but only for FS9. It'd be nice to have an updated and 100% FSX compadible version for these two.You can also try some smaller Greek airports like LGIO, LGSM, LGKV, LGMK, LGAL and many others. Most have one runway and a couple of small buildings so they must be rather easy to model...In any case thank you for your effort! George Golas ---------------------- I hate gravity!
May 30, 201115 yr Moderator .. KSAN expected release date before August 8th.Aug. 8th, how the heck are you going to pull that off?You better plan on working 24/7 if you're going to release a payware version of KSAN by then considering it takes folks like FSDreamteam, FlyTampa, ORBX, etc, usually 6 months or longer to do a quality version of any airport, and those guys have years of experience doing it.Anyway, KSAN is a nice choice since the only other team working on it is Cielosim and it seems that there version is going to first be for FS9 then for FSX later on, but it seems that the project has been at a stand still for a long time now.Look forward to seeing the results.Sean Campbell Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
