July 13, 201114 yr Commercial Member Many of the aircraft feel like you are riding on rails, and takeoffs and landings just don't feel realistic. Maybe it is a way to help make the flight dynamics more realistic. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
July 13, 201114 yr It could also be aome game within FSX, like a virtual airline or an airline sim like FSPassengersX. They seem to sell it under the REXGames label, if I am not mistaken.Ya I thought something like that too, that would amazing, something that simulates running your own airline, something like airhauler except passenger ops, defining routes etc etc. Everything is just pure speculation at this point.
July 13, 201114 yr if it is an ATC product from REX, i will be sure to buy it. It is something that FSX lacks and REX makes a great product.kyleHelloWell we only have three of them already , four if you count the default ATC
July 14, 201114 yr I'm not that sure about ATC... the developers of RadarContact (the best ATC addon out there in my opinion) are working on a new improved version for years now.. appearantly it's not that simple to include stuff people would like to see.. SID/STAR implementation and stuff like that. I'm not saying it's impossible but REX would have to be better than current ATC addons. Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

SID/STAR implementation and stuff like that. I'm not saying it's impossible but REX would have to be better than current ATC addons. The main reason for RC5 to take ages is the simple fact that the developers are not fulltime developers. They both have fulltime jobs and are working on RC5 in any free time their jobs and family allow.I don't know how it's with those guys, but when I'm looking at myself, my job and family don't allow me al lot of time to spend on my hobbies :( As far as I know, the devs at REX, or at least some of them, are fulltime developers. So it wouldn't surprise me if they build a competitor for RC. Guess we'll know soon enough. Regards, Frank van der Werff
July 15, 201114 yr I didn't know RC developers are doing this in their spare time. Still, it's been a long time.I still think if REX would develop ATC addon it should be much better than the ones currently on the market. If not, it's going to be just another ATC addon. But I believe whatever REX produces it's going to be great! So far, they are making top stuff!I'm wondering.. when this competition ends? Until somebody gets it? July 15, 201114 yr It would be nicer to have fresher ground be plowed, so I'm hoping for better air dynamics (or even cloud shadows ) over another ATC or airline add-on.Still, all good work is welcomed.
July 19, 201114 yr Commercial Member I'm wondering.. when this competition ends? Until somebody gets it?The competition ends on July 31st. I can say from looking at the entries some are VERY CLOSE! Reed StoughManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
July 19, 201114 yr Commercial Member The competition ends on July 31st. I can say from looking at the entries some are VERY CLOSE!I am still thinking it has to do with the flight dynimics (air files). Hope so in order to give a better sensation of flying using a computer. REX AccuSeason Developer REX Simulations
July 20, 201114 yr As much as I would like to see it be a new ATC system. I think it's going to be more on the line of Accusim.
July 21, 201114 yr It has to be something that is compatible with other payware addons... air files, accusim, .. too specific in my opinion but what do I know :( Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
July 22, 201114 yr Commercial Member It is compatiable with other add-ons for FSX.BUT FSX is not required - does that totally confuse you now! Oh you can use it with FS9 also, but it isn't required either. Reed StoughManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
July 22, 201114 yr Is it a Ginsu knife? Pogo stick? Coffee maker? Spelling checker? Anything with a "k"?
