July 20, 201114 yr Commercial Member Just wanted to let you guys who were begging for this feature know that it made it in before release - you can pick any panel state as default and it'll load it at startup with the plane now. C&D, short turn (aircraft powered but engines off) or whatever you want and it'll load that each time. You'll be able to pick the plane from free flight at whatever airport/gate you want and it'll load up that way. July 20, 201114 yr Awesome, Ryan! Thank you for letting us know. I love these little updates, just like the stories from the Beta testers. Henk de Vries
July 20, 201114 yr This just keeps getting better and better! How about a flight attendant with a cup of coffee and a sandwich upon start up, oh wait that is FS2Crew's department. :( Mike Keigley

July 20, 201114 yr So after I shut down the airplane at the destination and I forget to switch off something which I should've turned off and I exit FSX. Will it remember exactly how I left it the next time I start up FSX with that same switch still in the same position? Or have I completely missed the point here? July 20, 201114 yr Thanks Ryan . . . Beautiful to look at it and easy to use. Terrific combination. I haven't even touched the plane and already I'm loving its user friendly design. Nicely done. The more time it spends in your hands, the better it get. Can't wait to get it on the flight line but I'm reminded again that the wait is worth it. Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith

According to his post if you SAVE your state after your flight then you could reload it exactly how it was. Michael J.

July 20, 201114 yr Author Commercial Member So after I shut down the airplane at the destination and I forget to switch off something which I should've turned off and I exit FSX. No, but if you saved a panel state of that situation after you shut down it will. What I'm talking about here is having it load a particular panel state each time you start a new flight - so you can load straight away at a gate and not have it come up with the engines running and stuff.
