August 4, 201114 yr Well it's now 4:15 pm on 4 August in Eastern Australia, but unfortunately it's only 11:15 pm on 3 August. So I guess there's another 45 minutes at least to go, unless we have to wait for the 4th in Hawaii. Neil Bradley http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgNeil Bradley
August 4, 201114 yr 6.25pm on the 4th in New Zealand... Yeah I was expecting a statement from PMDG by now....I also don´t think it will come out today. I really don't think they will make us all wait right up to the release moment just to tell us that its delayed. That would be marketing suicide. Sam
August 4, 201114 yr Yeah, but they also said, that they wouldn´t do a surprise release. So they have to announce it fairly before they put it up. I would have thought about a 24 hour window from announcement to release. So.... We will have to wait and see....I sure hope that it comes out today, the waiting is getting unbearable. The AOA videos have spoiled the other 737 for me....I don´t think I will ever touch that bird again, just can´t stand the difference in quality. Oliver Donner
August 4, 201114 yr In Spain, we have set up an alert service to wait for the launch of 737NGX.When it comes out, we party, including sangria and paella, and invite all the PMDG team, but if you take a long time, the sangria will heat up and cool down the paella ... Best wishes.
August 4, 201114 yr Its 2:54am here and I cant sleep so I worked on a model for the computer, I figured out how much time goes into making it good, which makes me want the NGX that much more! -Ryan Vince Quote from 911 magazine: "- ...RSR delivers unparallelled performance and stunning looks"
August 4, 201114 yr huh whats coming out? I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
August 4, 201114 yr Technically is already D-Day since the entire country (Mainland US) is oficially in August the 4th. So, going to bed now hoping tomorrow I can buy this wonderful bird. August 4, 201114 yr Nick, Great blast from the past, it is amazing how dated it seems now. Companies like PMDG have really pushed the development of FSX whilst the scenery has also improved to the extent that it is sometimes difficult to recognise that the screenshot is not a photograph. Heres hoping to be able to get on the server today to download the NGX! Dave Boreham Dave Boreham
August 4, 201114 yr Wow, I have never seen this video....absolutely amazing, one could think we have a whole new simulator nowadays. Very funny video! Oliver Donner
August 4, 201114 yr Maybe I've been living under a rock, but who says the NGX is coming out today? They posted on July 25 that the release would be due in 7-10 days (10days => today!), but they also said that the release date may slightly change due to testing/fixing requirements. A slight change in terms of PMDG's time scale could mean anything between days and months. But I do hope that the NGX will be released soon. Been waiting for it since the initial announcement years ago. Dave P. Woycek
August 4, 201114 yr They said the release will be on or before 4th August, so today. Also they posted in the liveries thread yesterday, that they finished some liveries on the "eve of release", so they sure are going to release the NGX on the 4th. That´s what I think now, after seeing the posts in the other thread. Oliver Donner
