I'm beginning to think we will not see the release of the NGX today. I'm fine either way. My thinking is that there's no one on the forum from PMDG, so I think they are all still hard at work getting the product finalised and Robert is not quite yet at the point where he is happy to say "go". If they need more time to get it right, so be it. Just my $0.02c.

its still the 3rd in the states. so they have a few hours to do the final adjustments. that being said, I do think you are right. its been very quiet.

Check the original post - just updated it with some recently completed ones on the eve of release here. Some of the people posting here do need to remember please that we're not trying to avoid doing the particular "pet" livery you want (Thomson, FlyDubai etc) - there's only so much Pete can do and we've left it completely up to him what he chooses.

Guys they may not release until late in the evening THEIR time on the 4th.... go get some sleep or stretch ya legs for a bit... it will be released soon Im sure!

No, but Robert has implied several times that it wouldnt be a late in the day release.But the fact that they're silent and busy, and havent confirmed anything suggests to me that its not happening today. They insisted they would give us notice and we still havent seen that yet (unless you consider the last announcement as notice)

Guys check out the livery thread update from yesterday- this seems to suggest the release is still planned for today, as the post mentions these liverys were completed on the "eve" of release. http://forum.avsim.n...y-availability/ the last section also says Pete is working on more during the day tomorrow but they may not be ready for release so maybe during the day tommorow is probable..............

RSR and most of the team were on here last night at about 19:00GMT. I would hope that if there was a delay then they would have said something to us. I think we're now in the "Global Village" stage where one mans 4th is another mans 3rd (or 5th).

Right, from what i know and i have read from PMDG only! I believe that the plane will be released when it's READY. We have waited several years now so i'm sure a few more hours or days will not hurt. Ste

Well you previously said you're not buying it on release anyway so of course you are fine with it, if it slips.

Who cares? It'll be out when it's out. At no point was any release date set in stone. If not today, then in the very near future. We have seen enough of the aircraft on AoA's videos and in forum/facebook pictures to know that it is pretty much there. We know directly from members of the development team that it is pretty much there. So, let's sit back and relax, awaiting the addon of the year's debut... We all know PMDG's stance, yet thread after thread appears... just leave them be already :) Andrew

Well, clearly alot of people care it would seem. And why do people keep saying that, "It'll be out when its out"? What does that mean? Should everyone stop checking the forum completely, and start using telepathy? Or should we all go away and come back in 6 months? So far Ive not seen many people complaining, just lots of people speculating and having fun. We're a small community with a common subject to talk about. Lets not try to silence that.

It'll be out when it's out means simply that it will be released when the development team considers it ready. I for one do not wish to see it released with known issues in a similar way to an Airbus developer, no names mentioned... I never said stop checking the fora. But numerous new threads on "It is the 4th here now" with the undertone that it should now be out and so on are counterprioductive and often cause bad feeling. No news is often good news. Whatever. If it does release today, we will all be happy. If not, well it certainly isn't armageddon, is it... Andrew
