And after PMDG B777 ?

Featured Replies

- its very likely they will do a remake of the 747-400, with a accurate and correct -800 ext. Rob is currently type rated on a 747-400, they have unlimited access to Tech documents, and I would think they would redo the 747 using new techniques.
I'd very much appreciate it if they(and guess they will) work on the 747-8 once it's fully released... After all they already did the first step by releasing its externals, didn't they? :) But hey, remember it's just 747-8, not 800. By the way, and this question goes directly to PMDG dev team, have you ever considered about building an Airbus model? I ask because even though I always preferred Boeings and barely like Airbuses, I'd never touch an Airbus in the flight sim world UNLESS it was created by PMDG.

I think it could be the 787 after the 777. I don't think PMDG really do older planes like the A310. Make sure you sign your name to your posts.
Don't hold out for a 787. Not now that QualityWings is doing one (and it's looking amazing, I have to say.)

This is actually a really neat piece of software - we publish their boxed version:http://www.precision...64&idcategory=6

It's not that we don't like older airplanes (RSR is thinking about restoring a DC-3 in real life!) it's that they just don't sell - even the MD-11 was hugely affected by the fact that a lot of simmers thought it was "old" and wouldn't buy it.

Space Shuttle Mission is a fantastic simulation of the STS, and I recommend it to everyone. I get as much satisfaction from flying a TORVA as I do a RNP approach. Very cool you guys are involved with the boxed version.

for space shuttles look no further than SSM2007. Its looking alittle dated now but allows you do do full missions with docking at iss, Hubble servicing etc. Its not perfect as the earth textures are bland so you dont know where you are flying over unless you look at the map. There is a SSM2 coming but last I heard it was still in Alpha after almost 2 years lol!. I do not expect it to release till 2012, however its got much deeper systems and high rez earth textures, and also will alow you to actualy enter the ISS and float about hehe.

Oh surprise me! The MD-11 is a dream! Kind RegardsSteffen Luztz

no flexibility in the 747 ..

The FlightSIm community REALLY needs an Airbus. There is a massive gap in the market for a good quality A3XX series, and there is profit to be made if PMDG make one.

That makes perfect sense. Most people can only afford so many addons. While it would be cool to have an older aircraft modeled to PMDG's standards, my priority is aircraft still in daily use - so that's where my money is going to go. I'm really looking forward to the 777 as well as a remake of the 747. I think an airbus A320 modeled to PMDG's standards would also be in high demand. I would definitely buy it!

Perhaps a little early to be thinking about after the 777... But why not the A330? It's one of the finest airliners in the sky! And extremely popular with airlines across the world. The problem with the MD-11 was all those fictional liveries that they had to do. I can't fly fictional liveries! laugh.png Would love to see PMDG model an Airbus. I'm sure if they did it would make sense to do the A320 family first. And then the A330 in all its glory! If they stick with Boeing, the 757/767 - I know there are others out there, but PMDG all the way!

How about a Bumble Bee?LOL.gif

Imagine the detail PMDG could do, the coffee smudge on the pilots dusty shirt, that dent on the propeller - the list goes on!

i7 960 CPU @ stock 3.2ghz, GTX560 Ti card, 9 Gb RAM and 1.5 Tb pf hardrive space. Its getting old.

FlightSim Labs is starting their airliners family now with the Airbus AXX Series. The A320 is already in development and will be followed by the A330, A340 and A380 I guess. That said, I don't think PMDG will attempt a "competition" with them now.

After the T7 I would definately like an ATR :31900Turboprop-MD 11Jetliner - J41Turboprop - NGXJetliner - Dash 8Turboprop- T7Jetliner - ATRTurboprop?Lol.See that patern thar?
