Hello, You're right :-)It worked with Firefox ... incredible that such things happen ... Thanks, Marc
I think you're right ! http://airobserver.w...ost-weaknesses/ Don't use them much (since the BAC 111's) so never noticed. I cycle by the airport, but my eyes tend to be on the road instead of where they'd like to be!
That's curious, on all our planes, they're the right way round on both sides... AFAIK, the flag shown in the pic is the Ivory coast flag, probably one of MOL's other tax evasion schemes....

They don't fly in the US at all ! Just Europe. Fred.
Wrong. A flight arrives once each week at KGPT - Biloxi/Gulfport MS full of tourists for a one week stay in a couple of Condos on the beach. Ray

Hello Peter, you are correct, I even found some Aer Lingus with the flag reversed.Compare the two images below from the same airline, OK, the 737's are now retired, but it shows the inconsistency of our green isle :) aer-lingus-plane_1406267c.jpgEI-DET - A320 Aer Lingus - SXF 29-09-07b.jpg

ATC: Yeah, it's OK. He's not hungry.

Yes I see that PMDG are correct where FR are incorrect.apologies to the repainters they did an excellent job, just have to have a word with MOL about this latest "publicity stunt".@Steve, it'll be interesting to see what refreshments FR will be offering on their long-haul flights. Fast Food perhaps?

Very inconsistent, Here's EI-CVB, She's got the correct flag on both sides, I'm lost as to what's going on here.....

As FR says: 'These flags are correctly placed on aircraft in order to suggest forward movement. Air Force One also follows this international principle, as does the Irish Government jet

you learn something new everyday it seems, even the Air Corp's CASA and the P9 also have the same 'forward facing' flag.

I think it supposed to be the way a flag is portrayed on a flag pole.(how you would see it if it was on a flag pole. I could be wrong, but i'm sure that is what Mike Swannick said in this very forum. If i'm wrong, you can blame him :)

Interesting Ray and you're right, I've seen a picture of one of their a/craft at the airport. However, neither their website nor their route lists or route map show anything outside of Europe. There must be something special about that weekly flight. Iain Smith

Have you thought it may be a regular charter. Could be a load of old fossils from the darby & joan club away for a week to get away from their husbands who spend all day in front of their computer flying a 737NGX . LOL.gifLOL.gifLOL.gifLOL.gif
