August 19, 201114 yr Just got out the MD-11 again yesterday.She's one fine bird too! Amazing how advanced the concept of the MD-11 was at that time, a shame that only so few were made.The VC is still great, although it's not as good as the NGX's.I really like the MD-11 and will keep on flying it too. August 19, 201114 yr Taking the LEO MD80 for a spin still - even though the VC was craved with a chainsaw, it's still a beautiful a/c to hand-fly (tricky, but beautiful)... And what really gets the LEO going for me, is Fs2Crew.. Flying without it, is just not the same once you've tried it I think... Before handflying online was a ######, because the sudden HDG changes, level/speed restrictions and all the switches that had to be moved once established on ILS, was hard to do while handflying, but after Fs2Crew and my new FO, everthing is a smooth ride! I am actually thinking about doing a clean up today and uninstalling my CaptSim 727, 757, C-130, Wilco E-Jet's 170 and 190, and maybe even the JS4100 since I rarely fly it. I'll probably just leave the PMDG 747 and LDS 767, but I must say that after getting used to the NGX, it's flight model and superior VC, it will really be hard to fly the 747 or 767 anymore. August 19, 201114 yr Despite a little issue here and there I haven't flown anything else. So far I've done KBNA -> KMIA -> MKJP -> KMIA -> KRDU -> KORD -> KSEA -> KDFW -> MZBZ (watch out for buildings on the runway in default) -> KMIA -> KLAX -> KDEN and I'm still getting warmed up.
