AoA's First Training Video Now Available

Thanks, Chris. I appreciate your honesty, and I'm glad to see that you're staying in touch with the community in spite all of our (ok, MY) heckling. Looks like this ship has a good captain at the helm.

Jason then you have to wait 10-14 month before flightwork is being released. But my patient is alsp very thin!
And that is completely wrong! Flightwork is going to be produced beside Groundwork. Nick said that on the AOA website. And you really should give your patient something to eat!

OK, this is hands down the worst $80 dollar I've ever spend in my life. And before "the forum police" kick off, this has nothing to do with patience, I have an active life, I'm not a nerd who sits in front of his PC screen hitting F5 the whole day to see if new videos have been released etc. I do have a problem with the fact that this product was hyped so much, with red flashing buttons saying "737 training available, get it now", then spend $80 dollar, and then find out nothing was there. "You'll get it when it's done" is fine for me, but NOT after you've spend the money! Imagine going to the shop to buy a car, furniture or even food, pay for it and then they say: "you get it when it's done" How many people here would agree with that? The least you can do for a PAYING customer is telling them when they can expect their goods to be delivered. And IF the schedule would be once a week (which it is not for the moment, not even once every three weeks) it will take more than a year? By that time I've read the FCOM 15 times. I feel mislead by a false hype, and I am sure not the only one! Now let the bashing on my persona begin 'cause I dare to say something that doesn't fit with a lot of people's view Regards,Sean De Maere

If you can't be bothered to read the AoA website then it is your own stupid fault. There has been no misleading, only offers of a price saving if you buy now. I'm not a fanboi of AoA but I am capable of reading and researching the things I buy. They were pretty clear on the fact that there was no content as of the time that the 'release' was made. This was due to the fact that they received the beta late from PMDG and that they had issues with the editing process. If you are silly enough to put in your credit card details and then hit the 'buy' button, and expect an immediate release, then I have no sympathy for you. Why don't you ask them for your money back if you're dissatisfied?

can you please link it ? on the mp3's and homepage they said multiple times that Flightwork is starting after Groundwork is completed and not before ...but they said Linework will start in between ... did they changed it and I missed it ?

Did you bother reading chris reply, he explained the delays etc and being mislead do explain how you were. Since when i purchased he training package i knew that i was paying in advance, dont know where you got the i video every 3 weeks maybe you can share this information where you got this. If you want to purge you feelings least post the facts and not heresay about time lines etc about the release of the training videos.

This is the fact, I paid on the 11th of august and got 1 video so far, that's 1 every 3 weeks no? CrashEd, THE fact that you call me stupid for saying my opinion says enough about you. From Cuba maybe? The fact that they have probs with the editing process, should have been spotter BEFORE they started selling it, fix it and THEN start selling. Nobody told me when I bought it: "It will take us at least 3 weeks to produce 1 17min video, because we have problems editing!" THAT is misleading! And btw, look on pmdg's facebook on THE 11th of August, and tell me what it says

Indeed Pete. The guy is blatantly angry because he bought it and didn't read the disclaimer. Time to put your toys back in the pram mate. And no, I'm not from Cuba, far from it. That makes you stupid and racist. FACT. Boy, the trolls really do spoil this forum sometimes.

Hey, I'm cool as a cucumber mate :smile:I just hate it when others spoil what is generally a nice forum.

Holy moly. Summary: If you're considering buying and are upset about the lack of updates, just hold off on paying until there's more completed. It's that simple. If you already paid and are unhappy with the lack of updates, ask for a refund and then buy it again when there's more completed. I have no idea if they'll give you a refund, but if you ask politely, maybe they will. Complaining about the lack of updates is silly when they never said it was completed and have never given a timetable. It's been pretty clear all along that the work would come out when it comes out. There's no sense arguing about it. -stefan

Nick said that Flightwork will start, when the majority of Groundwork is released....not when it is finished. It is on the AOA Memberts Wall.
