Any chance of a turn around panel state?

Hi Team,Thanks to a pilot by the name of Simon Holderness we were gifted with an FMC file that reflected a real world cockpit state. I see that the default states don't really have an "at the gate" panel state (hehe i'm a poet and i don't even know it) anyway... I know some airlines may differ between these states but can you guys at PMDG or even Simon, be kind enough to configure this panel state and resave it as I am aware panel states made prior to SP1 will create some issues? Thanks so muchP.S I have absolutely no crashes or issues since SP1 - you programmers are champions in my book!!Kelvin

Where do I find this first panel state?

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!

hmm, i was hoping someone would be able to set one as i am learning this bird and don't have a true idea how the cockpit is set when the pilots arrive for the start of their shift.

That depends on many factors. First flight of the day, the aircraft is most likely cold and dark and a ground engineer will set up the flight deck initially. Ground power and so on, basic systems set up. The actual routine is dependent on an individual airline's SOPs. I just go with the defaults and set up as I have time on the ground. To create panel states for turnaround for every airline and every situation is going to be a lot of work. I would sooner work through the standard checklist and fly her. Andrew

Kevin! Why don´t you use the "Short turn around" panel state? It should be sufficient.Otherwise spend some time creating your own./ Leffe

Tis are almost "basic" and may change from a company to another:C&DEng bleeds On,APU bleed OFFisol valve Autopacks offRecirc fan either on or offcabin temp selector in mid range or untouched (sometimes pilots leave tem off but the position doesn't mean that the controller is Off, so, mid range is OK)All lights offEmer lights OffIRS OffHyd pumps eng ONhyd pumps elec OFFfuel pumps off,Stby power OFFBattery Offdisplay brights set not at maximumParking brake setxpdr/tcas off.Save panel state. (I Hope I've no missed anything)How a technician leave the plane at first flight of the day; APU running:battery ONApu On (and started)stby power OnAPU gen onlinePosition lights steadyemer lights onone pump on, if the pump started is on the right of the crossfeed, open crossfeed.Lights as required for the day or night, maybe useful the dome light.Save panel state.Same for ground cart but leave APU OFF.The pilots will align IRS, turn on the bleeds, packs, lights and so on.There are pilots that don't like if someone else align the IRS, other apreciate it.

If you do this with a ground connection will the saved panel state save the ground connection connected and working?

I assume it would. When I load the default "ngx long" panel state it has all the ground connections active except for the pitot covers.

As long as you have the APU feeding the electricity, no need for ground connection.(The Apu can be started without ground connection, you´ll must have the battery on however)As for your question I guess it will be saved. Haven´t tried though./ Leffe

Depending on company sop, time to spend with aircraft powered you can choice if using APU or ground connection. For the regulations APU cannot be used normally more than 30 minutes, if power is required on ground for more than this time, it is adviced to use the ground connection.

In my panel stte I removed chocks and saved, it worked, I think it will work also for GPU connection.

Where do I find this first panel state?
caution: PMDG state that any panel states/liveries used prior to SP1 must not be used as they can cause issues. This is why I am making this plea for Simon's Holderness's panel state to be created again.
