You have a solution where the vendor went out of his way to find your topic and help you out when you could have approached the vendor and made mention to get help sooner.Laminar is changing things vastly. I am a great candidate for X-10 as I enjoy adding to a sim, and enjoy payware. Got a SSD ready to go for my X-10 install. Just need some bush scenery, but realize all good things come to those who wait. Was thinking of doing some tweaking to scenery myself, but I lack the brains and patience to do such, thus relying on what others can do.

Cameron-I have learned the past few days the problem is not with xplane...and you have just emphasized it. There may be no update-but there is a process-and I would have expected you would have emailed your customers and explained that.I spent a lot of money on your site...this is just lousy customer service..

ORBX would certainly be a blessing in the X-Plane community. It is my hope that someday they come over, but I know they have a very strong stance against X-Plane at the moment simply for the reason it doesn't fit into their current structure of development (where they have invested a ton of money).I second Goran's recommendation for the Canadian Rockies scenery. A guy named Tom Curtis creates it and he has a passion for bush flying in Alaska in the real world. It's definitely worth checking out! :)

..and I downloaded a bunch of xp9 scenery yesterday and none of it worked fyi...

Hi, Geof. Guess I missed this since you edited after the fact.Which scenery was it you downloaded?

Nebraska, Ohio, Florida,kcle,klnk,koff,koma,Wyoming. I also downloaded Simons Mariposa and St. Thomas.All give an error message when starting the sim-then all but St. Thomas and koma crash the sim.These are all freeware by the way.
