My short view follows:Install is standard Wilco procedure, with exactly the same installer as they have used for ages. All follows through and works well. In FSX I am no greeted by a very wide range of airlines. I must say that in general the model looks okay to me, but some repaints seem to lack frames for the cockpit windows, and none of them have frames for the cabin windows. A bit strange I find, but oh well. I could add them in manually at a later stage. But overall, I'm quite pleased with the amount of liveries and their quality.The panel seems pretty solid to me for as far as I have looked at it, but that shouldn't be much of a surprise. It's basically the old 737 PIC panel with extras added on to it, if I understood correctly. I did some switch flicking and overall the systems responded in the way I expected them to. The 2D panels are something I never really use anymore, and in this addon I think I probably will never use them at all, except for the FMC 2D panel. That specific 2D panel didn't look that good to me. The graphcis are nice, yes, but the text seems to not fit that well into it. It's as if it spills over the sides of the displays. The again, I don't know if this happens all the time or not - I barely looked at it still.The VC is not beauty. I find this a pity, because I wa shoping for a good VC. I find that the geometry is off, it doesn't seem really accurate to me. However, if you move the eyepoint down a bit, it becomes a bit better. To give a rough impression, various gauges seem to be too big or too small, the gear lever for example is huge. The overhead looks okay but many switches move inaccurately in that their positions seme to be too extreme. i saw a switch that in its animated position could almost fall out of the overhead because it was hardly connected to the panel it belonged on.The sounds seem okay to me, although the engine sounds were audible even though I had stopped the engines. This annoys me a lot to be honest. For the rest, switches and knobs make the sounds they should, so that's nice.As for performance, like many feelthere/Wilco products, the FPS are a bit low. At the same place, the PMDG 737NGX (which always tends to be a bit low on the FPS) has about 5 FPS more. As such, I'm not sure I'll be able to use it in the bigger hubs I tend to fly into, instead using it in less demanding airports.Bottom line after this half our visit to the pit, is that I think it looks rushed to release. if more time was spent on the VC, it could have looked much, much better, and obvious errors such as engine soudns being audible fater engine shutdown could have been avoided. Of course I will fly this plane, for I have been waiting for ages for a a classic 737. It might grow on me like the previous 737 PIC did, and it's a nice addition to the fleet. I can't do but be a bit disappointed however. I really hoped for a VC that at least would have been more accurate.Please do remember that this is absed on a cursory inspection of about 30 minutes and really is just a really quick look at a new aircraft addon that might get several patches still (like always happens).By the way, you actually have some choices for cockpit displays, being either analog or digital. I think this is a very nice tough!

Benjamin, I don't have that sound problem here. Engines off and there's silence, except for the airflow thingies. Did that small dll get loaded on FSX start? It should have asked for the rights to run it.I'm ok with the gear lever too. Imagine a link to airliners.net. But the Classic cockpits over there show a huge lever.I think the yokes are too far aft though, but maybe I'm seeing things the wrong way. I'm using EZCA and TrackIR and therefore have altered the viewpoint to my liking.

Did you go to the exterior view? Seems like engine sounds I hear. In the cockpit the engine sounds do go away, although there still is *something* that can be heard even if APU and BATT are off.

Outside is silent too with the engines off. Maybe the GPU has a sound you are hearing?

No problem.I saw that the -500 Boeing thumbnails are mixed up. The text says no winglets (which is true), but the picture shows a winglet version.Benjamin, I've tried again with the -500 in the Boeing livery. Engines off and silence comes. As expected and in both views. Please check that dll, maybe it plays a role here.Edited. Ah, when you toggle the views a bit, the sound suddenly hangs in the outside position, so there's a noise. Toggle 'Q' and it goes away. Seems to happen only once. I can't trigger it any more after it happened and received the magic 'Q' toggle.Here's a fan blade shot. Out of context.fanblade.th.jpgI've altered the trim wheel sound by the way. The FeelThereb737 v2Sounds folder gives plenty of opportunities for customization. Just in case.

In the panel.cfg, the window06 gauge is missing.
[Window06]size_mm=297,187position=0visible=0window_pos=0.0, 0.117window_size=0.155, 0.173BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0ident=103

There should be agauge00=b737c2Pedestal!DCP, 0, 0, 297,187line.It's there in the other configs, so you can alter the panel setup itself or just add that line I think.

Guys - I do not hope that this is a correct install - otherwise i'm really getting angry...It's unflyable at the moment...Mas
Sorry for asking, but can you describe the problem? Bad night lighting? I have some shots attached in the previous posts. I think it pretty much looks that way in the sim.
Hi Fabrizio, It Seems like that from the page, odd thought they were going to give a decent discount to owners of 737 pic v1 ohmy.png to be honest I could never understand wilco's attitude with customer's being in business for so long.
I am not really tempted in terms of quality.

Wow...- No discount for v1 owners- Extra money for extra liveries aka DELUXE version (You gotta be kidding me!)- 'Wilco' support- Poor VC and 3D modeling (I love Systems FIRST but man this is HUGLY and disturbing for an add-on released almost in 2012/ The modeling and the texture quality is closer to Abacus than anything and worst than their own previous products)- ... and wilco's systems simulation is NOT known to be among the best so I really wonder what I'd be paying thereThis looks really poor for my taste... I'll pass.Thanks for the reviews guys. Saved me some money.

Best regards, Fritz ESSONO

Hopefully Captain Sim make the 737-300/400/500 for FSX!

Please let them do the 100/200 first. Me likes the steam gauges in their planes.Does anyone have some derate tables or a tool for the -300 to -500? I didn't find anything in the library. UTOPIA files would be a solution of course.
