Looks like we gona need another NGX patch soon

I don't know if this is related, but I've noticed issues in landing the past 2 flights. After taking the flight off autopilot, the plane seems to want to bank left. I have to fight to keep it from "pulling" to the left. I'm not using any outside flight controls (unfortunately, no yoke or rudder pedals until I get some $$$), so you can't blame it on that. I thought it might possibly be an engine-out situation, but I received no such warnings. Really strange.
I have been seeing exact same thing as well, turn off auto pilot during after capturing LOC/GS, and mine was banking right, i have had this twice now, always just after AP off.Thinking i will try see if pressing (FSX centre all controls ) will fix this issue, its supposed to centre aileron/rudder/pitch trims. If that fails , dont know what it could be.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Another problem i seen with NGX is Left AP disengage during turbulence, no big deal , but for the rest of the flight i am not able to reengage left AP.I had to use right AP all the rest of the way, but on approach LOC/APP capture buttons had no effect whatsoever, even though ILS tunes and verified ok.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Looks like we gona need another NGX patch soon

Looks like we gona need more information.Your first anecdote is just a bit short and vague to give any sort of input or even tell if it's correct behavior or not... Secondly, don't you suppose it could, in fact, be your axis? Check that trim is centered (there's a few easy ways to tell but it's good practice to search the manuals) Fuel imbalance? Etc etcWhat kind of turbulence are you in that disengages the A/P?! Sounds pretty terrible. Perhaps you have an assignment to your hardware for FSX A/P disengage and your pressing it? Is the disconnect bar up as well (if it's down and disconnected, you could have an NGX assignment to hard disconnect)?

I have flown many cross wind landings since i got FSX in 2006, its now 2011, so i know what cross wind feels like. This situation however feels more like runaway Aileron trim, or rudder trim, but not sure. When the problem occurs its alamost impossible to keep plane from rolling over.By the way, if you dont have usefull opnion to add to perons post , please DONT reply with sign your name, its very rude and annoyingThanksJames woods

In all fairness, it's annoying when people blatantly ignore forum rules that everyone else has read and adhered to. But I digress. I suggest a different approach to getting help than the one you're taking --suggesting a new patch for issues that could possibly be related to user error(how's that for useful information?!)Hope you get it worked out.

I always check joy stick controller etc axis before engine start.Fuel inbalance is not the problem, cause i kept eye on fuel tanks on this flight, cause in part the flight was to allow me to measure NGX fuel usage so i could update my Fscaptain settings for NGX.As you suggested could be trim issue, so next time i see this problem i will just press fsx command to centre all controls, if that fails , then i have no idea.James

Did you ever think folks forget to sign thier name cause they forget, or maybe like to keep thier name private for personal reasons. Its for reasons like this i dont post much on AVSIM, technical dissusions too quickly fall into personal debates. If not signing my name offended you that much , imagine how offended i was when the first reply to my question was SIGN YOUR NAME!!!! I'm the one who was originally quoted, so I'll chime in. I'll try a flight tonight and see it happens again. It wasnt the wind (as it was less than 10kts and not much of a crosswind component, not enough to cause the issues I was experiencing.) It felt more like a mechanical problem, as I was fighting to keep the plane level. I'll check to see if any fuel imbalance might be the culprit. I havent been setting up any "failures". so it will be interesting to see what's causing this.

PMDG often delete posts with no name so it was friendly advice really.Does your problem occur with no weather program and the 'Clear Skies' weather scheme loaded in FSX?

Stop being so dramatic. Good grief.

Are you guys using AS or REX weather engine?Either way, have you both followed the introductory manual and disabled turbulence effects on the aircraft in FSX settings?----------------From the manual Ryan was kind enough to write:-------------------------Weather Page:The settings on this page will not provide many gains in performance, butthe turbulence setting in particular is extremely important to mind.We recommend that all users click the “Disable Turbulence and thermaleffects” when flying the PMDG 737NGX. We make this recommendationbecause the flight model used by this simulation is extremely realistic, andthe turbulence model in FSX is notoriously unrealistic. The combinationresults in very poor turbulence behavior, so we recommend that usersdisable the default FSX turbulence capability. That solved a similar issue for me! Hope it helps.

Keeping your name private for personal reasons means not posting in this forum i'm afraid. Anyhow, just calm down say Oops, Sorry and tell the guys your problem and you'll be surprised how many usefull replies you will probably get.

I've heard about the banking problem at least 4 times here in the forum. As it always bank to the right, it is not related to a common fuel umbalance problem. However, asking for a fix without screenshots or info on how to replicate it make it impossible to find any solution.I think you must do some flights, and save the flight just before the issue appear (so before disengaging AP, then send a ticket with saved flight to pmdg, if there is an issue, they will solve.Without this procedure I think they will be never able to replicate it.

We recommend that all users click the “Disable Turbulence and thermal effects” when flying the PMDG 737NGX.
I just looked, and that option had already been checked. So, that probably wasnt it.

PMDG nor AVSIM wish for you to feel that way about the rules. It's a requirement for multiple reasons including the ability for PMDG to verify you are indeed a customer, if needed. PMDG may or may not decide to take further enforcement of this post, but just so you know is all.

Sincerely,
