January 23, 201214 yr Today is a sad day for many, I know this a a bit off topic, but with the dedication of PMDG setting the standard of fsx, many similaritiesof Joe Paterno and his excellence to succeed at Penn State, and then you have a company callled PMDG that illustrates the excellence of work and dedication that we all simmers like a family such as penn state.I have been there two times in watching football games and Joe Paterno was Penn State in Happpy Valley in the middle of no where in Pennsylvania. I went to Indiana State University home of Larry Bird but no comparison what Joe Paterno gave to his university and the same the PMDG has given us the ngx. Thus I request if at at all possible if someone could step up and make a fictional Penn State, Joe Paterno 737-700 ngx He desserves and we owe it to him and would luv to fly a plane like that.regards Ronny

January 23, 201214 yr Author yeah but just a suggestion would like to see one of americas greatest icons and legend regards ronny
January 23, 201214 yr Will most people remember him for the good or the bad? When you have to ask that question, it doesn't look too good. And I don't really see the similarities between a football coach and a virtual 737... Danny

January 23, 201214 yr Not to be selfish but I would like a Frontier 600 repaint - not some college sports teams coach, who lately, has been in some controversy..and on top of all that, no one around the world cares about (including many Americas). sorry i dont mean to sound rude, just saying, not that important really to have a proper painter use his time on it Max PMDG 747X & 737NGX Pilot
January 23, 201214 yr Author just to add this man Joe Paterno made a college football program when he took over in the 60';s they were just an average team. If you ever been toi happey valley home of penn state they noiw draw over 110,000 fans per game, thats not to shabby in my book, This man was the best NCAA football coach in america and its unjust to make judgement on a man who never could explain his part of the story when he is dead, so lets give him his respect and honor and dignity for what he deserved. He gave service to a major university here in the usa for over 60 years that right 60 years and I have been there a few times, He belived first he was an educator and then a coach. I dont think ot many stadiums draw that kind of attendace consistenly, He made Penn State what it is today. So in honor he reallly had nothing to do with went on, he ws well respected by players, coaches, and even presidents here in the usa. This is a GREAT LOSS to colleges across the USA. The man was a legend and icon in the college world of football, over 400 wins more than any other coach in america, and did it with honor, recruited players who would go to class first and then play football,Concluding I know this is a bit off topic but it sure would be nice to make a fictional ngx plane of Joe PATERNO., thanks for reading and try to underststand why I think like that I was there regards Ronny Edited January 23, 201214 yr by rsperge
January 23, 201214 yr If you wanna honor that guy, then go and do it yourself. Not sure why you feel PMDG, AVSIM, and the general flight sim community should associate itself with negligence in the face of rampant child abuse, but I would vote that not only does this man not deserve any honour in death, for he showed none in life, it makes no sense to me to glorify anyone in his profession with flight sim paints.
