Ultimate Traffic 2, plus quite a few WoAI packages that have been integrated into UT2.

I solely use MyTraffic. I stopped using WoAI due to its FS2004 origin, and UT2 just didn't do it for me with the relatively low amount of available airlines and airplane types. MyTraffic models might be less ncie than UT'2 or WoAI's, but I find it the simplest way to get craploads of AI from all over the world spanning lots of airplane types. I find it the most comprehensive AI package available. I am thinking of adding in some self made Russian AI packages, though.

I use MTX Pro. Since I am mainly interested in the company I have just used it in the default mode. I suppose I should take a look to see what all it can do. It is probably more robust that I am currently using it.

I use JF traffic X but it really wouldn't be my preferred. I picked it up on a big sale several months ago at JF. Not bad, but UT would probably be my preferred since I used it with FS9 and it was very good.

I have recently integrated approximately 30 WoAI packages into Ultimate Traffic 2, and it has made a massive difference to the number and variety of AI planes that I am seeing at UK airports. Part of the problem is that UT2 includes schedules for certain airlines, but doesn't include the colour schemes for those planes! Quite why they did this is anyone's guess :( These planes are depicted using the fictional "Daedalus" textures, but if you have the Daedalus option unchecked, then........well, you don't see them at all! If i was to go back using an AI program it would be WoAI. It's the best performing of the bunch, and not real hard on framerates.

I really like Ultimate Traffic X. Lots of nice looking aircraft everywhere. The only question I have is how to update the liveries after mergers like Continental with United and Northwest and Delta etc. I also have Traffic X but never bothered with it after I could not figure out how to reinstall it after reloading windows, besides there seemed to be very few airliners anywhere.Kind regards,

WOAI is the best and it's free. IMO
Define "the best". Dated FS9 routes and models aren't my idea of the best. Just my opinion.Have you tried the other options listed? Refer to the OP! Edited by ZachLW

I have Traffic X and tried UT2, but settled on WOAI. The payware programs were problematic and heavy on performance. Plus, I hated hearing "Merican" when using Traffic X. My Traffic has many great reviews, but I'm not about to try another traffic program, when I have a free one that does what I want - populate most airports without too much of an fps hit.I find that the AI models are very nicely done, and I can lower AI to 25% and still see lots of traffic. To recap, WOAI is the best - better than all the rest. IMHO

MSFS 2020, what an amazing sim!

I see. Thanks for elaborating, Jose.I really would like for there to be a "tell all" thread on AI traffic. A thread that brings to one place the positives and negatives of each program. In my experience, I found it hard to find a single thread that wasn't biased towards one program or the other. One thread's general theme is "WOAI ROCKS IT'S FREE". Another shows a biased opinion towards a different program. Etc. Etc. This poll has shown a general favoritism towards WOAI and UT2.Either way, I'm more surprised at the number of AI traffic users that responded in this thread. I figured most folks avoided AI programs like I have for the past year. I was wrong! Edited by ZachLW
