January 24, 201214 yr I searched the forum for a poll like this, and found none. I also find this subject to be hard to research as unbiased information is hard to come by. Most folks just recommend whatever program they use, not factoring in the fact that they haven't used any others.I was a World of AI user for years, but "maintenance and upkeep" got to be too much and the routes are aged. I opted for the Flight1 package last year, and was quite impressed with the options and traffic density. Unfortunately, performance was atrocious, so I got a refund. After a year of avoiding AI Traffic, I finally purchased My Traffic X Professional. To put it short and sweet, I'm blown away! Performance is great, my airports are stuffed with traffic, and the strobe effects on the AI aircraft at night is very convincing. The setup was a cinch, contrary to what I have read on the forums. I had forgotten what I was missing, but MTX has brought the feeling of life at airports back.Obviously the winner in the poll will be WOAI, as everyone sticks with free stuff. I'm glad I made the leap, though. I'm a rivet counter, so having the latest routes and airlines is a must for me! January 24, 201214 yr Moderator I use UT2 mixed with WOAI for cargo and some custom AI that I put together to fill in the gaps of what UT2 and WOAI are missing. Had the opposite effect of UT2 causing bad FPS, in fact UT2 gives me much better FPS than WOAI does but some of that can be for the fact of some overnight parked a/c not being there. January 24, 201214 yr Yes. I had to choose WOAI for this. I like everything about it (I haven't tried payware AI) as its is FPS friendly and have a range of airlines to choose from. All these are in with a easy to use installer. The only thing that I don't like is the use of FS9 flightplans, but this makes it compatible with FS9. I like my GA traffic (which uses FSX flightplans) so I have to convert them. This is just my choice hahas :D Clem Happy Flying, Clem Wu Beta Tester for OZx, Iris Simulations and Shade.
January 24, 201214 yr I did use My Traffic X but the models were terrible. A330's looked like A340's with the engines removed, SWA had almost every other plane in the Shamu livery. Little annoying things like that.... WOAI is what I use now, it's free and the only beef I have is having to turn off shadows because they do not show up at some airports (like FSDT KLAX for example). Al Stiff
January 24, 201214 yr WOAI does it for me. Not using it right now, anyway. Most of my flying is on VATSIM. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB

Mr. Rink apparently supports his product to the hilt. New route updates (and it's easy), regular model updates, DX10 support (who uses that?), classic routes(60s, 70s, 80s, 90s), new paint scemes, and all easily accessible and a few clicks away. January 24, 201214 yr Yeah WOAI is pretty good, I just wished they did a better job on their modeling and liveries. But hey....it's Ai!!!Rodney J. Rodney E. Jacobs
January 24, 201214 yr To me the WOAI models are the best looking/performers (they use ardvark, fruit stand, djc and so on). The best packages in one set up. I wonder why FSX AI modeling never took off like FS9 AI modeling did? Al Stiff
January 24, 201214 yr I'm using World of AI. It's not without its flaws, but for being free, it's superb. Edited January 24, 201214 yr by boeing247 -Bram Osterhout
January 24, 201214 yr I am using UT2 and MTX 5.4. And the inbuilt My Traffic Live. Great combo, get all the airlines that UT2 does not provide like Charter, military and Cargo. UT2 only has a very small showing in the cargo By turning off those horriable Daudelaus repaints in UT2, MTX then fills the gap, Edited January 24, 201214 yr by ZK-SUH System: MSFS2024, ASUS Rog Stryx Z790-A, Intel i9-14900KF, Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 , Asus Hyperion Case,Rog Stryx 4090 OC, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD, 1Tb Samsung 860 EVO SSD,64Gb G Skill Memory, Asus Aura 1200W Gold PSU,Win 11 ,LG C4 48" 4K OLED Screen., Airbus TCA Full Kit, Stream Deck XL. January 24, 201214 yr I use JF Traffic X. Happy with it, but then haven't used others to compare. Models seem decent but pretty simple (which is what is needed for decent performance IMO).
January 24, 201214 yr WOAI plus a lot of self-made packages (using flightplans and repaints from the library compiled with TTools).I hope you don't mind I mean FS9. Traffic is traffic. :(
January 24, 201214 yr I am using the UT2 aircraft, but update the flightplans manually with those uploaded to the library compiling them with AIFlightplanner. Works like a charm and always the latest flightplans.Menno Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
