Anyways, I'm happy keeping my flying on the pc...being cramped in small spaces for long periods ain't my style:-)

I have to admit that was a funny one...and BTW Zach congrats on the CFI...it is one of the toughest to acquire in the RW...deserves a pat on the back! RW DB's...hahaaaa I never realized that earning the priveledge to fly in the real world made one a Db....what a joke these forums are sometimes

+1!I honestly avoided this thread because of what's his faces stupid comment and another overreaction in here. I realize folks don't like hearing how much time one has in model or type, but good grief! I only wanted to prove I wasn't just blowing smoke.

It's hard to beieve what people say on the forums. Just consider that most people here fly the sim because, for one reason or another, they can't, don't want to, or haven't flown in RL. Plus you have to ask yourself... Why would someone who can curently fly in RL, fly on FS? Everyone might have their own reason. Reagrdless, it's probably better off to not gloat about RL flying here and just be as helpfull as one can be. Zach, this is not directed towards you, but more just a general statement.JB

I see, Jack. Unfortunately, saying I have time in a model is going to sound like gloating. No matter how it's delivered! If I've come across that way, I'm not trying to be boastful. Yeah, I know what your saying. I just spent the last two hours playing with a new FDE from Bstolle for the Flight Replicas Supercub package. Tring to get it in and out of Clam Harbour with the ORBX Orcas package. What a blast. Tried it with all different loads. Even moved the CG way back and it seemed to perform as expected. Couldn't do that in Real Life.. Would be hard enough to find someone to rent a nice 200k Super Cub and allow me to hammer on it.Anyway, sending you a PM. OP, I would look at the PA-46T and the C337.I'm not a real world pilot (I actually got bored with fixed wing after I soloed and got to fly a helicopter the next weekend, lol).

developer bashings=db's???definition: a common sport on these forums, gets old awful quick. tends to be a zero-sum proposition, one developer has to be the alpha, the rest must be omegas. yawn....as i was saying, carenado's quality is improving and recent product like the 337 is impressive. lucky to have compelling products to keep the hobby going, hope good developers don't stumble into these threads and get discouraged.

just googled 'db' and got 'database,' 'deutche bank' and so on. sorry, not your slang but believe what you must.dev bashing is a common topic here at avsim. constructive critism is fine if you own the new offerings but blanket bashing based on past grudges, not really helping anyone. (i personally don't expect the fidelity of a $30 addon a/c controlled by cheap plastic controllers to necessarily match real life=low standards?) but much luck with your crusade!

This was my point as well .... folks will make statements on these forums with 2 year old information. The quality is good on recent releases.
