Ok, well this isn't going to be a forum battle and I simply didn't realise this was a rule because I have NEVER seen it before on any other forum. It's completely unnecessary (unless someone can tell me a reason) because the administrators can see my name from when I signed up and they are the only people who need to know my name, not the thousands of people reading my posts. As I am still a child, I take internet security VERY seriously and I'm still debating whether to leave or put it here because the amount of friend requests on Facebook I get from adults who have found my name from YouTube comments is crazy so leaving is genuinely an option to me unless someone can come up with a valid reason other than ''it's the rules''. ThanksPS I don't want to leave and I thank all the positive support I've received from people not posting about the lack of my name!

This particular Forum belongs to PMDG as opposed to other Forums that may run within Avsim, and as such, the signing-in rules have been laid down by them.

Yes, I'm fully aware of that. If they want to prove that we're customers they could tell us to put our order number in our posts instead like other forums. I'm not getting an average of 5 friend requests per day on facebook from middle-aged adults again, it's not right and PMDG clearly hasn't thought this through properly, as everything else they do is top-notch.

That is certainly an interesting point... I assume you mean OrbX as an example...You could lock down your facebook account...Great videos there, thanks for putting these up...Andrew

Hello "MAS737" (for failure of being able to call you by your proper name, LOL! :( )Just to let you know that, as a newbie with Heavy machinery, but very keen to learn, I found your first series of 8 videos absolutely fabulous. They are clear, concise, to the point where every move or action is explained so as to understand why it is made and, of course... the quality is so professionally superb too. It's no educated guess that you must be a professional airliner and your series should prove PMDG proud of their sim too, since everything (within and above FSX capabilities) seems to work to a hilt. Now, this aging 2000 hr pilot of lighter machinery, often upside down, is really keen to try and measure up to this new flying experience (especially as a single handed crew... and with a mouse to work over a small screen) something normally reserved to younger flyers working as a team.Well done, and thank you so much.Anyone disagrees ?

Hey, about time you showed up here. Folks, I have gone through every one of his vids. IMHO they are the best on YouTube for the NGX. Engine noise turned down so you can hear him, very clear speaking, very well organized. When he makes a mistake, he posts a "bubble" during editing to notify you (yes, I also always forget to set the engine switches to CONT during approach).Anyway, glad you made it here.
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them! :)Matthew

Hey Mas737, thanks for answering all my questions on youtube. Im otherwise known as bcwlim there :)Why Mas737? In this side of the world MAS is associated with malaysia airlines :)
It's not related to an airline but the 737 is the boeing 737. I wanted FSXpilot737 on YouTube but it was already taken and soon after I made my first video, he was a subscriber to me!

Captain,Thank you for making these videos for all of us to watch and learn from.I went to your YouTube link and I have a suggestion for the videos, regarding titles. When looking at the page with an iPad all the videos on the left start with PMDG737NGX ... and episode name follows. Well, the way these titles get displayed on the IPad, it cuts off the episode portion of the title, so it is impossible to figure which one is 1 thru 12. Maybe, if you put the episode number first or you could at least make the first sentence in the video description to read Episode #-This Episode covers the...Usually, I try to watch good training videos while sitting in my full size home cockpit; thus, I can make some hands-on comparison test. Since I am using the iPad while doing this, that is why I'd like to see a change in your title structure. Unless you have an iPad you'd not likely see this as being a problem...on a desktop I don't believe it is.Thank you again,John Combs
Hi, sorry I've only just seen this. I appreciate that it's hard for users of Apple products scenes they never seem to be compatible with anything unless it is Apple branded! YouTube works fine (including titles) on my Android tablet. I think they're in the correct order (I couldn't have the episode number at the beginning) so I think for now I'll leave them as they are. For future videos I'll bear this in mind though :)Matthew
