Anthony's Eaglet available

Featured Replies

I recently bought the Sierra and have been flying it a lot, and I also now picked up the Eaglet, as mentioned it has a similar great VC and 3D gauges and handling, but the thing I am loving is the high wing and big windows which allow unobstructed view of the scenery below, also the glass gauge version doesn't seem to have a FPS hit unlike some of the other planes I have with glass.Very happy so far, great plane at a great price, which makes it easier to pickup even if it does do similar low/slow mission as other planes in my virtual hangar, I will be flying it alot.

Is there reflective glass in the VC? I couldn't quite see it in the screen shots. If there is, I'm off to see the Eaglet.........I just don't enjoy flying with no windows in place. Really takes away from the immersion for me. Thanks in advance. :)Best, Jeff

I'm going to purchase this one later this evening. I love "low/slow" GA craft,it makes all the money I spent on VFR scenery worth it.

I just purchased Ant's Eaglet -- fantastic, love it.

Everything from the the sounds, to the documentation, exterior and VC, is top notch.

Yep, totally agree................... and so easy to fly. It's a fun plane to hop into. As I said previously I have spent quite a few Euros on VFR scenery and this type of plane is excellent for sightseeing. Right now I'm wondering if I'll invest in Horizon's GenX UK selection or will I wait for the Orbx offering which I'm certain will be fantastic.

This plane is great and dirt cheap too. Anthony puts many other vendors to shame. You can basically buy blind from him. Thanks !

Anyone saw that latest freeware from him? Now that's what I call speedy. So the guy doesn't stop putting great planes out, some of them even for free.

I've just finished a trip around Orbx (free) Tasmania ( YMLT) on the Eaglet, great combination of add-ons. I'm going to have to do a few circuits on the plane though, my landing was awful. I don't know if it's my "axes setup" on the joystick or if it's the planes characteristics but I couldn't keep the flare going as the speed fell below about 55knots. I fly in a mates Europa ( http://www.europa-ai...ft.com/trigear/ ) which also hard work to land even on good day. You have to keep the throttle open in the flare or it will literally drop onto the pavement.
