  1. A great jet indeed. One of my favorites, nice pic. Chris
  2. Fantastic shots George!
  3. Thanks for the info Silver Dragon.
  4. Yes, I had the exact same situation. The Trimble unit crashed almost every time I tried adding a STAR. I searched the internet far and wide for a fix and saw other users having the same issue, but no solution. Chris
  5. Looks good Gizmo! I'm located in Brainerd. Chris
  6. I would definitely agree with that comment, the Xtreme Lear package has lots of character and is a blast to fly... very challenging. And also, as you've seen in previous posts above, Eaglesoft is about the top of the line for business jets, in my opinion. I have their Citation X V2 and CJ1+ V2 and have spent many hours in both. Very unique and the systems, exteriors and FMC are very well done. The Flight1 Mustang is my other go-to plane in certain situations. Hope this helps. Chris
  7. Hey, good job. I also enjoyed seeing the Eaglesoft Twin Commanche on your other video. Chris
  8. Excellent video Mark, great job with the editing. Very interesting!
  9. Hi Gazzareth, After many hours flying the Citation X V2, I recently purchased the CJ1+ V2 and really enjoy it. I wish I would've bought it sooner. The sounds, systems, FMC, and exterior are very nicely done! Chris
  10. Yep, another vote for KMSP. I live in Minnesota and tend to fly out of KMSP in FSX most of the time. I have the Blueprint KMSP scenery and it's better than the default scenery, although I'd love to see a FSDreamteam or simliar take on it.
  11. Hi Peter, I recently purchased the PMDG JS4100, and I had about the same requirements as you in looking for a new aircraft. I knew since it was PMDG that it was going to be good, as I have most of their other aircraft. But I wasn't sure how interested I was in this particular plane. I wasn't real familiar with it, or it's operating history etc. That was, until I bought it. I was very impressed from the start at all the documentation included. Very good, helpful documentation, tutorials, the info in this forum, Youtube tutorials..... there is a wealth of info out there. All in all it has been one of my best FSX purchases, the systems, graphics, sound package, challenging procedures and FMS have made this a great plane to learn and have fun with. It's all I've been flying lately. Hope this helps. Chris
  12. Hello mr340, I use Google Maps also, and have all my payware airports marked. It's easy to visually reference and gives me an idea of the distances involved between airports.
  13. A beautiful plane to fly in FSX, the Uiver DC-2.
  14. Hi robmypro, If this would help you out, here are some shots I posted the other day on the Eaglesoft Citation X V2 http://forum.avsim.n...oft-citation-x/ I guess you will have to judge the VC for yourself, but personally I think it's just fine, I especially like the night lighting. Great systems, FMC, sounds and the exterior model is excellent. Chris
  15. Hi Phillip, You can't go wrong with any of your choices, the Level D 767 is a classic and nice for those medium or long hauls. I enjoy regional jet flying the most and the ERJ's and Ejet's V2 are perfect for me, and I'm very satisfied with them. I think they did a nice job with the FMS, and the sounds are great, enough to rattle the coffee cup on my desk, can't have much more fun than that. :) Chris
