March 30, 201313 yr ...well its long anyway. I go through the complete flight from KFJK to EGLL, Concorde X, on Vatsim with ATC. Lots of extras included. Hope you like it and I also hope the HD selection is working soon. Mark CYYZ
March 30, 201313 yr Great Job, that was a learning experience and a half! Ive never bought the concorde since I knew it was a complicated machine to fly, but after watching your video she might have to end up in my hangar. Thanks for this Kacper Nowotynski
March 30, 201313 yr Great video! Long, man though it is over an hour! I dont know how many people can sit that long. Lucky I had a night off. Anyway, great vid. Alot of explaining you did! I will never fly the concorde, I love it, but it is way to complex for me. Anyway looks like you are good at it! March 30, 201313 yr Great job, for a second I thought you were going to do all calculations manually. It's actually not too hard, done it few times for custom routes, but it takes time. March 30, 201313 yr Excellent video Mark, great job with the editing. Very interesting! Chris Bremmer

Yes I know it was long, that is why I put up the chapters so people could watch several sessions. Glad you liked it. Ha, yes I have done them a few times and not too bad but much nicer just to use the automatic way. I think that the real Concorde crew had a special calculator made for them to assist in the calculations. Mark CYYZ
March 30, 201313 yr I watched the whole thing, but I did start it last night and finished it this morning. Amazing!
March 30, 201313 yr Great ! Excellent !! It needed to be a long video. Being shorter it would not contain the information needed. You did what FSLabs didn't do !!!! I would suggest a Concorde Fuel tank management tutorial - on PDF, on video - I don't care. Tank management complexity - and lack of information on it - (FS2004 SSTSIM) - made me to abandon the SSTSIM Concorde. I hope Concorde X of FSLabs has better manuals. Thanks! March 30, 201313 yr Author Thanks for the feedback, perhaps I will do that video. The FSLabs tutorial is pretty good at explaining everything. Mark CYYZ

You can see fuel management in details at ITVV Concorde video, I think there is over 5 hours of video and David Rowland and Roger Bricknell did great job to present Concorde operations. March 31, 201313 yr I think I have those ITVV DVDs somewhere in a drawer and I need to watch them. I understand the reason and effect of fuel transfer. What is complicated is how NOT to mess-up all those INLET / OUTLET/ JETTISON etc pump coordinated operation in order to have the desired result. Thanks for the replies. I don't have Concorde X as yet, that's why I'm asking. Sam. Waiting for the 64-bit PSION Flightsim for ZX-Spectrum ////
March 31, 201313 yr Yea, that fuel panel looks scary, but, with VFE (CONC X) you can concentrate to flying the aircraft first, and then when you are confident with that, you can proceed to fuel balancing. March 31, 201313 yr Author Not quite as scary as it looks. Once you have the panel setup correctly you are only really using a few switches. The transfer across the ship to balance the left/right is the most complicated part and beginners can skip that step if they wish. Where you run into problems is when you make a mistake in fuel calculations and start running out, thats when you need to go to the manual to figure out how to transfer fuel from say tank 3 to tank 1. A rare occurrence, thankfully. Mark CYYZ
March 31, 201313 yr Mark let me tell you.. You video is one of the " have to have".. in our collection.....I will recommend into the forums I am member.. to see it..... to be honest, i didn't finish yet, but I will.... I am a fan of this AC .with more that 15 years of sim. and still can't use in the way have to be used.. Congratulation Mark You did a really impressive Work... and , beside that i didn't see many tutorial of our legendary Concorde.. not many could fly it.. properly.. +10.. Btw i see that you are located at YYZ.. ( I am living here too) did you have a chance to went to Pearson. when he was doing the raid?.. was colossal....!! Marcelo
March 31, 201313 yr Nice vid! I had no intention of getting the Concorde, but after this view I have to seriously think about it. Just from looking at the vid, I can see I'd have to spend a lot of time on INS programming as well as the fuel balancing mini game. An aircraft like this really makes me appreciate all of those "auto" settings on modern aircraft! Concorde seems to have been a very hands on air craft. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
