Wow....thats some serious Euros! Will you be taking the plunge? Could someone post some screenies or/and a small vid please?

Chris Howard

Think I will Chris. Can use in Orbx airports. Will keep AES for non fsx compliant air bridges as I posted above. That 176 credits includes bonus credits. So take off about 40% and thats what I paid. I would say about 180 Euro all up. Scary now i think about it. But GSX was not around and not even thought of when I purchased most of them.Edit: just did a acurate talyl up. $320 USD

Yeah it does seem to offer more airports than aes does, my finger is on the trigger (it being something new and all that)

Best thing to do Chris, is to give it a try at one of the airports I listed. Nothing to lose i siuppose. I have done some extensive playing around with it, it is very good indeed. It does have features of course which you do not get in AES, and one important thing to mention is all the models are FSX models, not a mix like in AES where Oliver has used FS9 and FSX models. The Team at FSDT are very good at thinking outside the square when it come to developing software for FSX. In fact, FSX is one very clever piece of software, that allows clever manipulation that was not possiable in previous flightsim platforms. So expect great things in the future, for GSX and FSX.

Would also like to add that Umberto has posted in the FSDreamteam forums that if you have not used the THANKSZURICH coupon yet, which was originally going to expire at the end of 2011, some people, myself included had not used the coupon because we were waiting to use it on GSX so FSdreamteam have kindly extended that coupon offer now till February 15th so anyone who has not used that specific coupon yet, you can get 10USD off the price of GSX, thanks for that FSdreamteam.Craig

I already have used my coupon, but I think that is great. Could not imagine the company that's name ends with a X doing that.

One thing I realized about GSX during pushback is that if your're making a turn, the nose gear turns too unlike AES where the nose gear is fixed. That's a big plus in my book :(

That is what you call a top-marks developer. How to keep your existing clientèle happy and loyal to you. Absolutely brilliant. Am so glad I went down the FSDT route.
