It's a pleasure being able to run those ground services at every airport around. This integrated update check also is a neat option.I must admit, I've instantly bought it as the preview videos looked impressive. So far, there's no downside or regret on that decision and I'll keep AES for the Airports I've bought, while GSX does the rest. From reading the forums over at FSDT, a voice driven option or the integration with Fs2Crew would indeed be the icing on the cake though.

Hello, just wanted to let you know we had issues with servers, because the program was downloaded so much, that we were able to overload even our commercial Dropbox account, at 250 GB/day!! Never happened before with a new release, I guess it's the price to pay to grow...In any case, this means there might have been problems with installers (GSX and Addon Manager) getting live update files. However, they all use a backup mirror automatically, and we put up a backup page with alternative download links for all our products, which will do until the release frenzy will slow down, and the regular server will be back up.Some error messages you might have seen were really benign, just too zealant to point out something was wrong but, in fact, it was just a warning of the first url not being reachable, but the installer completed anyway, using the backup mirror, but I agree too many warning messages might be misleading. We already fixed the installers (both GSX and the Stand-Alone Addon Manager) to show a warning only when BOTH mirrors would eventually fail.So, if you had troubles with the installers, it's all ok now and running on the mirror server, I guess the situation should normalize in the next days.

I don't think AES yet provides follow me to runway. At least I've not sen it. I asked for it a while back and Oliver has it on his list I think. I'd also like (optionally) only free gates listed for the follow me to gate, or maybe better, allowing choice of any gate but then have the program keep it clear (zapping any AI aircraft taking it). Currently I have to use FSUIPC's Zapper if the one I'm heading to is occupied (which is quite frequently the case with the huge amounts of MTX traffic I have).RegardsPete

Would be a nice one. I always kill UT2 when I see that 'my' gate is occupied. :( Maybe the menu could show that AI is already parking there or something.

Ya but now you have two marshallers. That is a pain.

You can disable GSX at the airports with AES support. This is done via that CouatlAddons.ini file in C:UsersB777ERAppDataRoamingVirtuali. If one has AES enabled at a particular spot, this may be the way to go since he's paid for those special features right there. The other way around, AES can be disabled too, but the credits can't be reassigned then. :(

Build a better AFCAD would be my guess, but it could be there's a pathfinding bug.

AI traffic progs like MTX provide extra AFCADs to enable more traffic at some airports, check that it's not one of those. GTX does tell you which gates are occupied (or soon to be available) which is really neat. One can find the runway easily enough but if you're like me you'll be taking shortcuts and taxiing into oncoming traffic instead of with it. So us left-footed Radar Contact users would really appreciate a runway option. :)

...or get EFB, you're still have to find the way yourself but at least you have ground charts for all airports in FSX plus LOTS of more goodies!
