February 1, 201214 yr One thing I realized about GSX during pushback is that if your're making a turn, the nose gear turns too unlike AES where the nose gear is fixed. That's a big plus in my book :(That was one of the features that made me smile. looks so much more realistic. February 1, 201214 yr I notice docking systems support is mentioned. Does that mean GSX will create / place a docking system even if the scenery doesn't have it? Or in that case will you get the marshaller even if IRL there is a docking system?Looking forward to trying it out tonight. John-Alan Pascoe
February 1, 201214 yr I really would like to buy this product but I find it a bit expansive (and as a young father, I spend more in nappies than in FS addons these days...) . Is there any coupon, discount or sponsorship system which could help me be one more customer ?

Is there any coupon, discount or sponsorship system which could help me be one more customer ?See post 38.I missed out on it as I didn't realise there was a coupon available, still I dont mind paying £32 including VAT, its extremely cheap compared to AES. Cheers, Andy.
February 1, 201214 yr I did read this post but this coupon seems restricted to existing FSDT customers.
February 1, 201214 yr Commercial Member I notice docking systems support is mentioned. Does that mean GSX will create / place a docking system even if the scenery doesn't have it?Right now, Docking systems are supported by our sceneries only, because we replaced our previous ParkMe function, that has now migrated into GSX, but nothing prevents us to create customization files for 3rd party airports, and place docking systems in those airports too, without having to touch/modify the original scenery and interact with the original developer.Without any customization, by default GSX always places a marshaller. February 1, 201214 yr Well i just got GSX..............Its awesome! Totally brings new life into the airport. Chris Howard
February 1, 201214 yr Author Those looking for a review, why not simply download and try it? It's a FREE upgrade for FSDT airports. If you like it, as much as I do, then you can buy it and use it for all airports.Umberto, Thank you for GSX. Great enhancement! MSFS
February 1, 201214 yr I just hope Her Indoors does not read this thread. :( Sadly, Julian, not only did I have her full support to indulge in my hobby, but she passed away just a year after I got married to her. Nevertheless, as you were not to know, your comment is taken in the spirit you jocularly intended it. Rick Almeida
February 1, 201214 yr Yes the voucher code I mentioned was originally for those who purchased Zurich V1 from FSDreamteam and then when they released an update to it with a lower price they gave out the voucher as a gesture of goodwill to the people who had purchased it previously at a higher price.Craig
February 1, 201214 yr When I watched one of the previews on YouTube I felt the ground crew's voices sounded more computerized than human, is this still the case in the released version?Another question, amongst the features animated luggage and passengers were mentioned, does that mean you will actually see the PAX boarding/deboarding?Looking forward to try this new product out when I get home and compare it to AES!
February 1, 201214 yr Hi Word Not Allowed,GSX does not interact with jetways at all. Including FSDT airports. Read my post above for more info. If your addon airport does not use FSX jetway cntrl J, GSX will not move it. Only AES. That is why I will be keeping AES on. UK2000 airports is an example where not having AES installed, means no moving jetways. According to Umberto (FSDT) you can run GSX with AES enabled, but with most AES cofigurations switched off. Just use AES for moving Jetways.Hope that helpsYa but now you have two marshallers. That is a pain. Eric

I don't tend to do more than a couple of flights out of the same airport before heading off somewhere else, so I don't have any 3rd party scenery. It's one of the reasons that GSX caught my eye, since it will work anywhere. Having a marshaller is several orders of magnitude better than the default of nothing. Hopefully I'll be able to try out GSX tonight and if I like what I see you will have another customer :). John-Alan Pascoe
February 1, 201214 yr Has anyone tried the A2A B-377 Stratocruiser with GSX groundhandling? Just curious.Ray When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
February 1, 201214 yr I'm sorry but that is simply no longer true, Gary has been using custom 3d jetways that use the default Shift + J key shortcuts for years. I think the last airport he made that had static jetways was Edinburgh and that is ancient now.D'oh! That's 10 AES credits that I didn't need to have spent. :(
