Well, frustrations reign one more time.. :Nerd:I loaded the demo, went to Munich and Milan, and nothing. When booting up the first time, FSX registers the scenery files, but nothing else. Installed it twice and rebooted in-between. Absolutely no sign that it was there other than the first time with the scenery. Went to the Add-On's tab and nada, zip. What am I missing guys? I really would like to see this add-on in action. Any help would be appreciated.

To activate it just press Ctrl-F12 that will bring up a selection window to get the process started. It will be in logical order Something like1. Deboard passengers2. Call Catering services3. Call Fuel truck4. Board Passengers5. Prepare pushback6. Reset

Thanks Tom. Attempted that with the most recent install at both Munich and Milan and nothing. Deleted it, cleared registries, rebooted, re-installed and repeated attempt. Nothing.

Has anyone tried the A2A B-377 Stratocruiser with GSX groundhandling? Just curious.Ray

No, it does not work with the Strat. at least not for me! Request for boarding or pushback results in the following message, "The add-on "unknown" is causing the Couatl scripting engine to restart"Maybe they'll get it workingbut who knows?One advantage of AES that i have not seen mentioned is the ability to configure for each aircraft and the "repair for push" option. AES does work with the Strat. where GSX fails, but I suppose that's eclipsed by the pricing and availability at all airports.

I wanted to get a 2nd opionion. I am going to ask FSDT to add the A2A B-377 Stratoliner to the list of support airlners. Level 2 support would be a good choice.Thanks.Ray

I thought I was the only one who noticed the hunch. I'm really impressed with it, just have to try out a few more planes before I hit the buy button.

I would try to uninstall GSX and the Stand-Alone Addon Manager then reinstall GSX first then the Addon Manager. See if that works.

I agree Eric. Umberto suggested making the marshallers texture invisiable. Not sure I could do that myself.

Got to be really careful here as anything said could be take out of context. There are however two comments we like to make on the release of GSX and the posts by Umberto about that product.

• Umberto claims that Oliver would look at compatibility issues, but while Umberto has had full free access to AES all the time, Oliver did not have any access to GSX in the past. So just do not count on anything, while GSX claims some compatibility with AES we simply can not claim the same as we have the software not installed on any system.
• We deplore that GSX uses the intelliscene configuration files without any discussion. Creating the interface to create those files was expensive and time consuming. To use those files (that are provided free of charge) without even giving full credits is just not nice. We hope Umberto will create his own interface for that or tell people he is using software created by others. We understand that this is bad for customers so we expect Umberto to choose the right option and to tell people without any unclarity that he is using software created by a competitor as a source for his own product.

The first issue is minor for us but might be an issue for customers, the second is a biggie for us but should not affect customer in any way. I like Umberto, he is a very clever and a very nice guy, we shared many beers. But there is no need to compete like he does. As said customers can make up their own mind.We wish Umberto all the best with GSX. Honestly.

it was my anti-virus. (Comodo) Temporarily disabling it helped.
