Exiting news - and atleats it looks like it is quite a long way through development.But I am with Cory Harry on this one - I certainly hope this could evolve into a 737 "Legacy" over time - but some nice propliners are not a bad idea either! :)

Ohhhh yes! I first fell in love with airplanes as a young boy in the early 1960's, sitting with my Dad on the veranda of the old "pueblo" terminal at the Albuquerque "Sunport". We spent many Saturday mornings watching the arrival and departure of Frontier Airlines DC-3's, TWA Constellations and Continental Viscounts. It was heady stuff! At the time I was singularly unimpressed by the advent of the TWA 707. Nothing was so thrilling as the sound of those old radials starting up, and (especially) the sight of those big spinning props!You can be sure that I'll be adding the DC-6 to my hangar as soon as it's released!

Great news M Randazzo,I have a question for you, because Henning work with you and the B200 ( Aeroworks ) was a great aircraft, why not a to continue with the serial B200 or B300 or B350 ??Pierre :-)

Raven-It is pretty clear from your post that you either didn't read what I wrote- or didn't understand it....The MD-11 was a poor performing not just because it sold in mediocre numbers, but because it was a full-on-airliner development cycle with many tens of thousands of hours invested.As I described in my post- this project was/is conceived to keep the developers productive during their various down cycles BETWEEN THE NGX AND THE 777. Some of us on the team won't ever get near this one because our work on the NGX rolled immedaitely to the 777, for example. But other members of the NGX dev team were finished in March of last year- and weren't needed on the 777 until this month. So rather than having them sitting around twiddling thumbs- they produced this.I know that some folks haven't picked up on this yet but: We *do* know what we are doing. :(

Namibia sounds cool great.I was told once by a salty old freight dog when I pointed out the oil leaking of the cowl of a BE-18 that, "Dammit boy...radials don't leak! They mark their spot!". Ive got some clean apron that needs marking!Hope the classics make it back to the old turbojet era. I might consider selling my soul for a PMDG quality 727. I know it's been done, but PMDG has spoiled and jaded me with respect to pretty much everything (visuals, VC, FDE, etc.) on a virtual aircraft. You take FSX to an art-form. Wait did I say that?

Hi,This news gived me good day Today!I have a question about manegement of engines.I have 8 axis in my home cocpit - but for models with more than 2 prop engines is a problem (2 for thr, 2 for mixt and 2 for prop).Is it possible to add simulations of new axis for FSX like is it in B-17G from A2A (with Accu sim) - all LEFT engines (first axis) and RIGHT engines (second axis). In this time all left - 2, right 2.In this time You can operate all 6 axis. Its very important for good ground operations so please think about this before model will be released.

Considering the relationship between A2A and PMDG, perhaps a deal could be worked out where A2A could produce an Accusim module for the PMDG DC-6, similar to how VRS is going to release their TACPAC for other developers to utilize.

While you all waiting, time to study the propliner tutorial at calclassic.comThere is much to learn, it has extensive information, not only on the era, but also how to handle those radials.A word of notion and caution: you will have trouble with ATC, not online, and the tutorial teaches much more than only vintage times.Johan
