I was watching the progress of a very nice looking scenery of Palermo Punta Rasi airport by Thomas Lo Gerfo at FSDeveloper: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28633Some time ago Thomas released his scenery for FSX. He promised to consider an FS9 version but, seemingly, found no time for it.And to my surprise I found the FS9 version today in the AVSIM file library (licj-2012.zip). Francesco Salsano adopted the scenery for FS9.Nice landings on Sicilly! B)Off to request AES support for this little gem.

Looks great. Installing as we speak.

Looks really good, after years of flying the same routes i am now exploring the world, last night flew to santos dumont, got to see the redeemer and sugarloaf, tonight flying the himalyans paro airport.So will definelty download this one, im trying to fly to as many freeware ajrports sceneries as i can, so this one is on the list.Thanks

I have installed it but it is buried. I can see a few elements of the scenery but it's mostly underground. I am using FS Genesis mesh and I guess that's the culprit. Shame as it looks awesome in the screen shotsIan

Installed ok for me in FSX but I cannot see that tall control tower. Rest looks as per the images posted here.Grazie mille, Francesco from me too.

Rick, I just installed it also and its working fine for me and all buildings including the control tower appear. You did install the FSX version right? The file name for the FSX version is palermo_punta_raisi_licj_2011_v2.zip.Rafal,Thanks for the heads up on this freeware.

Thanks - good to know it's not FSG. Maybe it's not a mesh issue though for some reason the area around the airport is higher than the rest of the terrain around it. I guess I must have some file somewhere that I've forgotten about. The scenery is there - I can see a few bits of it.

Hi,nice scenery.But a few notes, if you have "Sicily" installed there are some Palermo .bgls which interact with this scenery.Cannot give any more info on "Sicily" except to say , Iv'e had it since 2005 so its an oldun.Iv'e renamed the Tango.bgl to .Backup, this removes the concrete blocks of the taxiway T.Seems there is something wrong with the Alitalia statics, too many of them, but as yet have not identified the .bgl for the statics.Look forward to the update.Regards JohnT
