Unfortunately a release of a new sim seems to always cause all this agnst-I guess because the stakes are so high....
Wise words Geoff, and you are right. This recent change is fracturing, as are most. New directions, new blood, new reasoning, etc. There comes a time to move on. Since I would really like to use the PMDG forum in the future, I would not like to make a move as drastic as jahman's (and I do not purport that I have any value vis-a-vis jahman, but I relate to his conclusion).Thank you for the moderation Geoff.

I have the greatest respect for Jahman as he is a long time friend and I have learned a degree in FSXology from him. I was not involved so was dismayed and deeply saddened to see that he had left.Kind regards wherever you are Jaman.

I still miss Nick N's words or wisdom from here. Fortunately though he lives on elsewhere and so maybe will Jaman! :(

Why would someone want to have their account removed? I don't get it! Conflict of interest w/ a new position he has maybe or what could it be?

I don't get all the hub bub and angst that go on at times.Heck Geoff told me once someone threatened him and called his wife names over something FSX related. I'm passonate about simming but would never go over the top and take it so seriously as some people do.Am I missing something?

I won't open the wound, but for some of us, Flight, and the varied manner in which it is being received, is causing people to go through stages of loss and grief. Seems silly, but for some of us, Flight Sim is a part of our lives. Also, people are falling on two sides of the fence on this issue, and some are just plainly falling off. Now, personal threats and assailing someone's spouse is beyond the pale. However, for some of us, it is time to lay low - this is not a public space after all.
