This game is so wrong on so many levels

Featured Replies

Ok guys so iv been running this game down on the ms flight facebook page to the point of being warned of getting banned by MS. So i downloaded it today to see if my claims was justifeid and they was. What ever happend to free flight??? You buy this game and MS tell you where and how to fly!!! I only did the first two missions, seriously this is not made for the fsx sim fan. I mean i felt like a child being told how how to fly. The game is not challanging in the slightest. And then i seen the prices for add-ons, are they serious. And for all you peolpe how say they frame rates are great, well there is nothing clickable in the cockpit, the cockpit is as basic as they come thats why the frame rates are so good.Needles to say i installed at 09:20AM GMT and unistalled at 09:35AM GMT. :LMAO:Sorry microsft but your game is crap!!!Danny.

You only have to do the first two fairly simple missions. Ballon obstacle thing and fly this chick out to a wedding on a yacht. After that Free flight is opened up. You gave up just a little too soon.Rob

You hit the nail on the head with what you said....

I only did the first two missions
Take the time and dig a little deeper and I assure you, from the perspective of one very serious flight simmer and licensed pilot, that you will not be disappointed. Hand flying a full ILS in the soup down to minimums is nothing short of challenging. Yes the prices are a bit steep but the flight model (judging as a rw pilot) and the superb visuals justify them in my opinion. In another thread someone brought up a good point. Consider the average cost of all the add-ons (Scenery and a/c) for FSX and then I think you'll see that the prices are not too outlandish.(edit) Rob, you beat me to the punch!

Well... at least you gave it a fair 15 minute try... that's all anyone could ask... 'Needles' to say....

I've given it 3 tries now but still can't go more than 10 minutes before giving up. FSX on max settings runs smooth on my system yet Flight struggles. Then there's so much else wrong with it, I don't even want to begin. Ive briefly flown 6 different aircrafts including a Stinson L5. I can't see how Flight's lifeless models come anywhere close to reality. On the other hand, many addon FSX GA's have a realistic feel to them. Each to their own I suppose.

Ok you don't like it that's fine and you have voiced your opinion, so why not just leave it at that?

...So i downloaded it today to see if my claims was justifeid and they was.......Sorry microsft but your game is crap!!!.
Danny, I shouldn't even post a reply as it will end up as an insult to your ability to display an objective opinion, and a few other things. There are thousands of people enjoying MS Flight so far and experiencing it as not to be crap. I speculate that Microsoft is making a good amount of money out of this so far, and I wish them all the best. So what have you done for the flight simulation hobby lately?

Goodbye Danny, thanks for stopping by and sharing your 'research' and helpful conclusions...OK that comment was laced with sarcasm, and I am not proud of it, but frankly your tone deserved it... I don't intend to be hurtful, but, in my opinion, dismissing this Sim quite as lightly (and inaccurately) as you did reflects poorly on your judgement.Stick with FSX, it's not that bad...

I don't understand why people cannot stop comparing it to FSX. Ok, it was made by Microsoft. That is the only commonality that they share; it is "another" flying game. Do you compare Flight Unlimited to FSX? Do you compare Fly to FSX, Do you compare apples to oranges? They are different. Flight is not a replacement for FSX, it is stand alone game worth being judged by it's own merits, no comparison needed.

You ran it down before you downloaded it. Frankly, your opinion is not worth the paper it isn't written on

I don't like "THE SIMS" series. I'm on my way over to their forums to let everyone know how I feel.Oh, wait; I don't like FPS games either.Gotta go find their individual forums and complain there too.Never played an FPS, but I KNOW they are bad.AAAAAAAAGH!!!RB

He's a "Troll" guys. Just ignore him and he'll get bored. Don't give him any amunition by responding.

I've seldom read a post with so much wrong information, haha! And all that based on 15 minutes. And probably that's including the time it took to install and uninstall the game. Utterly useless post.

I just reported this thread guys!

Sorry microsft but your game is crap!!!Danny.
Right. So you didn't even finish the training missions, try any of the other aircraft, attempt any of the challenges nor can you spell Microsoft correctly?Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.
