May 13, 201214 yr Hi Mslim, I have good news for you. We are not great fans of glass gauges either, and personally I find them overkill for essentially simple aircraft. Our Lancair Legacy will have traditional gauges that work perfectly well, and together with the GPS and optionally an RXP instrument you have all you need for full IFR navigation, or local flying. Rob - RealAir Very nice combo! I´m really curious on that plane. Hopefully it´ll be here soon. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
May 14, 201214 yr Very nice! I like the N42DK mid page. The center stick controller, Sacred Six, and modern NAV stuff. Good combo. Agreed the 2DK panel setup is pretty much what I'd want if I were flying one... Hi Mslim, I have good news for you. May 14, 201214 yr Can't wait for this, still flying the piston duke every day. Only thing I am concerned about is the cockpit bounce on landing, like the post patch duke. If that's been carried across to the lancair, it would be nice to be able to disable It in the options. -Iain Watson-

If that's been carried across to the lancair, it would be nice to be able to disable It in the options. It will be a different "bounce"...better and more believable, and will only happen on bad or risky landings, and will also be an option this time ;) Rob - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
May 14, 201214 yr Absolute perfect Rob! I also hope that this can operate "easily" out of 3000ft runways, so I can use my fav airfields in PNW (77s, S12). The Orbx version feels like a fully loaded A340 on takeoff, skimming the buildings! Will be fun to test it out -Iain Watson-

Haven't fully tested runway length yet, but it's currently achieving a 13 seconds run from brakes off to rotate, or approximately 10 seconds lightly loaded, at sea level. That should work out at around 1000 feet with a breeze on the nose. Rob - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
May 15, 201214 yr By the way Rob, is there a way to cancel the cockpit bounce on the Beech Duke turbine.? Thank you. Real Deraps
