Even when I play competitive games, I don't care about leaderboards. Putting leaderboards in a noncompetitive game? Really? What will they show? Who can make the most passengers puke?Actually, that one might be fun.
I guess i would win in that category since i'm hooked on flying in "isolated storms" weather theme :D First time i tried it, i was so impressed and am using it more and more often (resulting in 20 sickened passengers already). My "quest" is to retain a green checkmark during the whole flight (talking about isolated storms only ofc :) ) but those passengers are way to demanding for my modest skill level :)On topic:Besides the frequent DLC that we all strive for, i would add one thing that is not on the list first and that is proper FF support. As for the listed things, it would be:1. Fully functional A/C instruments including AP2. AI traffic3. A/C failures4. More multiplayer missions and challenges (and single player missions)Cheers

Yeah, Isolated Thunderstorms is vying with Low and Threatening for my favorite weather conditions.

For me it would be more missions, and perhaps more cohesive missions, like a career mode.#2 Would be mechanical failures, there are emergency procedures in the checklist, would like to put them to use :)

I was looking through many other forums and places while also glancing at many YouTube clips, and I am still struck by the impression that many new people coming to flight will be underwhelmed by the current graphics (clouds especially) long before they even notice the more "simmish" lacks like ATC.The second thing will be the "After the zombie apocalypse" vibe of the whole thing with no boats, cars, people, other planes except in multiplayer........Next would be the XP10-drabness of the muted colors on buildings.........Altogether it creates what I am certain is an unintended air of somberness, that doesn't match Flights! Ukeleles or traditional Hawaiian festiveness and color. They are going to have to step things up to at the very least Orbx type scenery levels to have their efforts taken seriously, and their flagship effort, while better than FSX, still falls short in the looks department (except for the planes themselves)Technically, things are good, but where is the love?

I hope all of you "there's no goal" and "it gets boring after 5 minutes" never have any intention of becoming real pilots. It's a simulation. The goal is to fly the plane. With sims of the past, you had the option of 5 minute flights OR leaving your computer on for hours on end. You had choice and flexibility. What is there to gain? When I took my first real lesson, my instructor laughed and accused me of lying about never having flown a plane because I knew what I was doing. That is all the reward from a flight sim I will EVER need.

Its a simulation. Unless you are doing it professionally, the goal is to enjoy yourself.

Great Poll.I am deeply deeply satisfied to see that cosmetic features like " Leaderboards " reside only into Joshua Howard secret dreams.

While that is true for us here in the forum, keep in mind probably the majority of the folks that participate in this forum and especially in this poll, probably have their roots in more serious and complex flight simming such as FSX/FS9, Not surprising something like a Leaderboard would be way down on the list they would like to see added to Flight...

I'm impressed that Leaderboards garnished nearly 1% of the votes in-favor on AVSIM, actually. At least Leaderboards will be trivial to implement, as MS is already gathering all the data anyway, and then the team can move onto something productive.

I voted for the autopilot. Even the mission to photograph all the landmarks was tiriing and a bit boring with 20-30 minute segments between islands. The autopilot would allow me to study a map or just enjoy the scenery.

I'm all in on the TrackIR.I got mine in last week. (TrackIR 5) It's simply amazing. I've used it in FSX, Wings of Prey, and a few other sims that support it and I find it hard to go back to Flight without TrackIR support. And I'm really bummed about it. Flight is otherwise so relaxing to get in and fly, that I'm really hoping that MSGS gets TrackIR support in real soon.Other than that, I'd like to see AI and ATC, a basic GPS in aircraft other than those like a Steerman, and real-world weather. WildBill

Just 3 things - TrackIR, ATC and AI Traffic please :)

It might sound pretty silly, but I kind of want more choices for pilot portraits. I tend to just go nuts in any game that allows you to customize your character.

And I want to be able to see others characters as they walk around outside. Its a constant request in multiplayer as people get out and schmooze. Only seconded by being able to fly each others planes. I would add, it would be great if their was an instructor or passenger mode, too.
