If LDS ever releases theirs then you'll have a systems sim one. As it stands right now though they're friends of ours and we're not going to do one. If they indicate they're no longer doing it then we'd definitely consider it - it's the favorite airliner of several of us here, myself included.
If not a 757, would you consider doing a 767-400? It wasn't done by level-d and they probably won't remake their 767-300....ever. At least not for FSX.

The 767 by Level-D is great aircraft but it's a little bit old in everything compared to NGX of PMDG.Let's remember it was developed for FS2004.Before NGX, it's was my favourite aircraft. After release of NGX, I hardly can enjoy it. The NGX is great! The 757 is going to be a very popular along simmers. But, The status of project by Level-D is not known...,The planes by Captainsim and qualitywings are not good enough. As the PMDG made a version II of 737, I would like to see also a new version for 767 (200,300 and 400) and 757! :(

QW757 is a great aircraft and does what needs to be done... I suggest that aircraft to anyone.. is really good add on i fly it all times.. But i do think we need an updated 767 with PMDG details to it.. LVD 767 is a great plane but outdated... I think that would be the plane to make...Carlitos Colon

I believe that for CMD-B to switch to APP mode, the NAV2 radio must be tuned to the ILS. I may be wrong, but I noticed this as well when I used CMD-B for a flight once and didn't tune both NAVs to the ILS.
Congratulations! You win the model of the PMGD NGX!No actually, you don't... But you are right... I had my ILS tuned on the left side only.

i always tune my ILS to both sides regardless. no sure if its real procedure or not, but ohwell its FSX, ill make up my own SOPS

Tim, well, my SOP is that unless I expect an autoland, to set ILS active on my side and a secondary aid on other side, with ILS pre-loaded in case the left radio failed or something (this HAS actually happened to me in the NG, albeit it was the right radio that failed). I just did not realize that since I was using CMD B, right computer was master and was taking radio inputs from right NAV radio.

I would pay Top Dollar for a PMDG 757 top dollar for a fsx version of course

I would like to see both a 757 and a 767 from PMDG, but these are hardly on my wishlist. QW757 is great and so is CS767, i don't feel the need for more, really.

I do not like 757 nor 767 but I voted for "yes" as there is demand for those planes.

It's interesting to see so many simmers wondering about the status of the LDS 757. The fact that the community as a whole is unsure about its progress says a lot about its progress. It may be a smart business decision to consider producing a 757/767 in the event LDS hasn't moved by the time the PMDG 744 v2 is released. In the software development world, if something hasn't moved (in this case LDS) in more than 2 years, it's probably dead.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.

To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

What i would REALLY want to see would be a PMDG A320... I know they've said not before but it is almost a dream to me and i think i could keep insisting... Airbus is as big and as good as Boeing and there isn't any Airbus for FSX with the level of quality that PMDG airplanes allways have... I'll buy the 777 for sure but i still need a GREAT A320...

With the NGX, we pretty much have the European market covered, as that is probably the most prominent aircraft in Europe. But in North America, there are sooo many 57s and 67s. I would venture to say that besides RJs, there are more 757/767 aircraft at the world's busiest airport, Atlanta, than any other aircraft. The 767 is still in production. It's been in production for about 30 years and is still one of the most fuel efficient aircraft on the market today. That says something. I Would definitely jump on the opportunity to produce a quality 767 as the LDS 67 is outdated. To avoid ruining relationships, I would wait a few years on the 757. Just my two cents.

Why not ?! 757 and 767-200/300 767-200f/300F would be nice to have both in their full config doors models for pax . Level-d did a wonderfull job. But when you see a PMDG released you figure many ithers acfts out. I´d go further and I´d ask for B717 , Why not?! Whoever did it ?! Anyway .... no matter which one they will release or not....but you can expect an excellent model for sure ! Best regards 4 all !!!!

Ryan, any chance you could indicate which companies PMDG has a non-compete agreement with? To be honest, it's silly. You guys are better than LDS.
We don't have formal "non-compete agreements" with anyone - it's just common courtesy between developers who are friends. Would you expect LDS to announce a 747 or 777 right now after us?

Seeing that speed at which LDS makes things, it wouldn't matter all too much ;)
