March 30, 201214 yr Commercial Member Well, here in Frankfurt I see them every day. Lufthansa Cargo has the last produced MD-11 btw.And regarding the CRJ: Aerosoft is working on one in cooperation with Digital Aviation.Of course the Lufthansa cargo is the only exception owning a purely MD11 only fleet :( Alex Ridge Join Fswakevortex here! March 30, 201214 yr I love the MD11 as it is and it still catches my attention as the NGX does ;)I mean, it's not as good as the NGX in every term but it is somehow... the coolest thing i have ... I don't need a new Version, they should better put their concebtration on new prpjects. regards, Alexander Marx

March 30, 201214 yr Yes, read your post. Are you saying that Lufthansa do not operate anything else other than the MD-11F as its cargo fleet? And if we are talking 'solely', what about Centurion, China Cargo, Ethiopian, FedEx, UPS, Eva Air, who if my info is correct, also only solely operate MD-11Fs. Rick Almeida

April 5, 201214 yr Took these pictures at EDDF today, thought I'd share them with you :) It's such a shame that Lufthansa is going to replace these beautiful birds with 777s next year With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.

April 5, 201214 yr What? They will be replaced with 777? What a pitty. Frankfurt was one of the last spots here in the region to see several MD-11 at once. I didn't know that they will replace them. Hopfully they find another owner and fly much more hours. It is a pitty, MD was somehow just to early with its planes in regards of autmoatisation, and they were to old with their marketing.
