March 30, 201214 yr I have their Citation II but was looking at their CX version 2.0But before I buy would like some opinions both good and bad regarding this product from those who've had it awhile and have flown it a good bit. What say y'all? :smile:Ummm... the title should read HEAR not HERE... :( A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. - Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
March 30, 201214 yr It's very good, particularly in the systems and VNAV areas. Textures aren't incredibly detailed, but the performance is very good. It's one of the best business jets available for FSX. Shane Gavin
March 30, 201214 yr I have quite a few hours in the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0. it's one of my favorite planes to fly. The systems and FMS are very detailed, exterior modeling and paint are fantastic. I do most of my flying in dusk or night conditions and I really appreciate the excellent night lighting in the VC cockpit. It's one of the best FSX purchases I've made.Chris Chris Bremmer
March 30, 201214 yr My opinion: like all ES aircraft, it has:- (+)Great systems representationGreat Flight modelPretty good frames(-)Definately not masters of texturing in the VC.... VC looks dated and well below par against other contemporaries. Contains some 3D but still looks very flat. Cheers. March 30, 201214 yr Im looking into this jet and it may be my next buy! Corp jets are my weakness and i try to find as many as possible for fsx. Tramps like us, baby we were born to run......
March 30, 201214 yr I bought it in December and it is pretty much the only thing I have been flying since. I have the PMDG MD11 and the F1CS MD80, the CX v2 system wise and texture wise is on par with these. If you have anything like the MD11 or MD80 keep in mind that all aircraft operate differently so there will be differences, for starter the FMS operation. As far as the VC, it looks great to me.

VC looks dated and well below par against other contemporaries. Contains some 3D but still looks very flat. I own it and agree. Navdata updateable through Navigraph is a huge plus for me as well.Note: You need a registered ver of FSUIPC to get the functioning fadec. March 30, 201214 yr What they said. :)I thought the VC was gonna be a bigger deal than it was. The plane is fun to fly, systems are modeled well and after about 5 minutes you forget that the VC could be a little more detailed. Good purchase. EddieKABQ
March 30, 201214 yr Author My main concern is system and flight model fidelity. I like 3D and VC cockpits, but they are below systems and flight model on my lists of must have things. April 1, 201214 yr I like the CX very much. It is my main airplane and I have no gripes at all. The flatness of the VC does not bother me as I use a modified 2D panel 99% of the time.

April 1, 201214 yr Systems good, exterior model very good, interior very bad. Personally I don't care how good the systems and FDE are if I feel like I'm looking at a painted cardboard panel and cockpit - visuals are too important to me in terms of immersion. I wouldn't buy it today and no longer have it installed. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
