July 29, 201312 yr Commercial Member So, just out or interest, regarding the 777 Delivery schedule ;-), and in Pilot parlence, is the 777 on the glide slope at: 1) The outer marker 2) The middle marker or 3) The inner marker. On visual approach, slightly low and 30 knots too slow! Just kidding Hopefully they have just left the holding pattern and are configuring for final approach. Rob Prest
July 29, 201312 yr I'm pretty sure that since they are still internally testing - it's probably more like Top of Descent or a little before. I doubt it will be out for a couple more months. Regards, Jeremy Chesney
July 31, 201312 yr Agreed... Might be top of decent... Orrrr the landing gear is still being installed at the Boeing warehouse. You never know :S
July 31, 201312 yr What is the difference between the new vnav and the old vnav? I hate Rob mention in one of the videos that the NGX used the "new vnav" and the 777 will use the "old vnav". Google didn't turn anything up. Ivo Ivo Dimitrov
August 1, 201312 yr Will the PMDG 777 be freeware? Regards, always three greens and happy landings, Max Aerospace Engineer and Private PilotFlightdiary

August 17, 201312 yr Another question after watching some screenshots:Does it have an ADF? Will I be able to perform NDB-Approaches? [Edit]: Nevermind, seems to be customizable as on some screenshots there are ADF's. Strange, as I always thought that ADF's are a must have IFR equipment. Regards, always three greens and happy landings, Max Aerospace Engineer and Private PilotFlightdiary
August 18, 201312 yr is possible make a video...with a full flight...by cold and dark, insert Flight plan, all cheklist and procedures, take off, piece of cruise and landing and taxy to the gate... for who would learn something abaut T7 and real procedures I recommend the last video of pilotseye, with t7 with aerologic!!! is very beatifull!!! or a same video of World air routes...

Although it is a requirement to monitor raw data when doing an NDB approach on LNAV/VNAV. If you're aircraft doesn't have an ADF, you are unable to shoot an NDB approach, even if it is in the FMC's navigation database.
