May 20, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member I think we should have an unofficial MCE section on avsim? Any ideas? What's the connect external power Bill? I agree. there should be a MCE forum on here......how does that happen? The external power is on the 737NGX. its set from the FMC Clive Joy
May 20, 201214 yr Clive, the scripts are already there, the flows are just there to give you a guide how to use them. Dont forget, despite the flows only showing one way to ask things, MCE recognises many commands, there are lots of variations. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
May 20, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member Just used that script, wow, very good. Should I dare say maybe better than FS2Crew :Nerd: Clive Joy
May 20, 201214 yr Fs2crew is good, but for some aircraft it relies on video avi files to show you stuff it is not actually doing. If mce cant do it then there is now way around it, but when it can access the switches, it will tell you exactly what they are doing. I prefer MCE because i dont have to wait 30 minutes for pauses where nothing happens, i control how fast or slow the pre flight goes, and with GSX i dont need the fake boarding sequence either. May 20, 201214 yr I think we should have an unofficial MCE section on avsim? Any ideas? Don't forget there is already an unofficial MCE forum as one of the sub-forums at http://rainbird.heavenforum.org/ Probably less active than this thread though !
May 20, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member This must be one of the best combo's to have. in my opinion MCE+GSX+PMDG+RC4+ EFB(Aivlasoft)+FSCaptain plus also the correct scenery addons So how do we go about setting up a sub forum here at AVsim? Yea, been to the MCE forum, but as you said not very active! Clive Joy
May 20, 201214 yr According to Robert of PMDG, MCE violates PMDG's copyright or something. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
May 20, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member According to Robert of PMDG, MCE violates PMDG's copyright or something. First script help. At the end of the push and start I want to say 'clear on the left' and for the FO to respond 'clear on the right' How would I do that? Clive Joy
May 20, 201214 yr http://forum.avsim.n...25#entry2248756 Gents-I would not recommend purchasing this product for the NGX.Since the developer has violated the EULA for the NGX, I'm not in a position to discuss it further- but suffice to say if you do purchase the product you may find yourself in a situation where it is rendered inoperable with the NGX.No further discussion of this product will be allowed in this forum. We appreciate your understanding. -Robert S. May 20, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member http://forum.avsim.n...25#entry2248756 -Robert S. Randazzo Hmmm........So what now? Just thought PMDG have now released their SDK, so what is the issue now. bear in mind I know nothing about these things  Clive Joy
May 20, 201214 yr Hmmm........So what now? Just thought PMDG have now released their SDK, so what is the issue now. bear in mind I know nothing about these things  It seems they modified the NGX's code to make it work with MCE, which is illegal. They could have waited for the SDK to come out and then announced that it works with the NGX. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
May 20, 201214 yr Author Commercial Member It's Ok now.....that's all I can say :Nerd: More news from MCE support to follow hopefully shortly (week or so) Clive Joy
May 20, 201214 yr Commercial Member It's Ok now.....that's all I can say :Nerd: More news from MCE support to follow hopefully shortly (week or so) Yes, it's fine and dandy to use MCE with the NGX. Using "fractured English", I'd say something to the effect of that previous statement is currently non-operative. (Each product functions in a fully-functional trial mode for interested users.)
