May 22, 201214 yr Commercial Member Wait! Don't tell him that!!! I want to rewrite his contract with some new terms first!!! :yahoo: Hi Tom I leave the negotiation to you. :Praying: I hope PcPilot isn’t reading this Chock and CooIP along with 10 (or more) other major contributors are always a joy to read. You should seriously consider creating an online magazine. There is enough knowledge about flight simulation between all these guys to comfortably fill-up a bi-monthly issue that will be right up there with PcPilot and PcAviator offerings. Create a DRM locked pdf and I would subscribe to it. If it’s not locked you can’t blame people doing a copy and paste. Make no mistake people will want to read what these people have to say. And it doesn’t have to be just about product reviews either. Cheers, Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

That's how AVSIM got started in fact - a downloadable monthly publication over 15 years ago. Others have tried it too and usually they disappeared within a year or less. However, we will be introducing another AVSIM feature in the July / August time frame that will be "opt-in" and free (and that's all I am going to say about it at the moment.. ).... We have two things to bring on line before that however and one of those is the new library.
May 22, 201214 yr Commercial Member I was only being "tongue in cheek" as they say No worries, I saw it that way. I know Avsim reviewers are just volunteers and there aren't contracts as such. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
May 24, 201214 yr I told you. Back on page 2 of this thread I told you if I play with the demo I'll end up buying it. I'm a man of my word! What fun! Randall

May 31, 201214 yr Will, I thought it would be a 'lets just check again' before we start to move. You never know!! ANyway it got me to do my first script. Also I don't like 'Mechanic' I think it should be 'ground'..........'cockpit to ground.......' Here you go, Clive....from the FS++ team: Here is the speech rule for establishing contact with ground crew <Any line from the list> (required) cockpit ground mechanic ground engineer ground crew maintenance crew ground maintenance engineer assistance mechanic technician </end of list> <L> (required) this is the Captain from flight deck from the Captain from cockpit the Captain to ground </L> *+ (optionally, can say anything you want here) (optional) Based on the rule above, all these sentences are possible Cockpit to ground. Ground from flight deck Ground this is the captain Ground from Captain Ground from cockpit Ground engineer from flight deck Ground engineer cockpit Ground mechanic from flight deck Ground mechanic cockpit Mechanic from flight deck Mechanic from cockpit ... ... Dozens different sentences are possible, and that's without counting the optional stuff you might say at the end of the sentence. Once you have established contact, you can ask for things like Ground are you ready for pushback Ground are you ready for start-up Ground are you ready for start and push Ground are you ready for push and start Ground begin pushback Ground initiate pushback Ground pushback to the left Ground pushback right Ground terminate pushback. Ground stop pushback Ground cancel pushback. Ground resume pushback You can replace the "Ground" word in all the sentences above with any of these which refer to mechanic ground mechanic ground engineer ground crew maintenance crew ground maintenance engineer assistance mechanic technician Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
