Several things: we've fixed the canopy bow, the rivets are flat now, the spellings mistakes are fixed and the gear is a bit shorter now.

Nice to see what looks to be a really detailed version of this bird progressing; the F-86 is my favourite jet fighter of all time, and I should imagine it is for a lot of people here on Avsim.

Personally, I fell in love with the Sabre after I saw the 1958 movie The Hunters when I was a young lad, and I still love that movie too, especially for its extremely authentic aerial sequences, where proper dogfighting skills such as high yo-yos and scissors rolls are well demonstrated. Such aerial authenticity means one can forgive the makers using the F-84 Thunderstreak as a stand in for the MiG-15, and even tolerate the slightly cheesy love triangle which was not in the original novel. If you've never seen the movie and get the chance to do so, I recommend it.

Nowhere.... Yet. But Bernt has started work on the FDE and code is progressing. On the way. But not yet.

Amazing detail! I'm not much into military too (ok, I run the T-38), but those are impressive. By the way, I think the list of airplanes not being done by Milviz is shorter than the other one already. ^_^ Do you folks ever sleep?

Bernt Stolle is doing the FDE? Combined with that fantastic look, this seems to become another must have for me!

Bernt certainly makes the Benchmark for FDE accuracy and overall feel.

I'm not a military guy either, but I like good airplanes. If this plane is anything like the T-38 then I'm guessing its a must-have. Looks great and I'm sure that the FDE will be ace as well

I am the son of a long retired air force pilot....saw the Hunters while stationed in Metz France 1956-1960. Also love this plane and take it up in the sim quite regularly. My favourite paint job is the Golden Hawks...the Canadian aerobatic team which was based in New Brunswick just down the road from where we were living at that time. I got to watch them practice and dream about flying in one as a kid.

I'm a Milviz virgin, but will definitely pop my cherry with this one. I think the movie that forged the bond with the F-86 was, for me, one starring John Wayne, is that the movie you all are talking about?
