July 6, 201213 yr I see the CS T7 is now at 0.5 Anyone got any input on this latest release? Is it worth a go yet? July 6, 201213 yr Not tried it yet, but it has the following tweaks: - 777-200ER PW 4090 model variation added - 777-200ER PW 4090 Korean Air HL7526 (cn 27947/148) livery added - FMC various engines support added - EFB various engines support added - MCP 2D panel added - EFIS 2D panel added - Knobs "self-spin" animation fix (300+ items) - MCP displays 6 and 9 characters improved - Manual Part I updated No mention of it not being a bit iffy, which it was last time I tried it, so there's clearly still some way to go. Al The way to get it a little less iffy, is after you load it into FSX, Reload the aircraft. Since doing that I have no issue with landing gear not going up. You still have to make sure the upper Hydraulic switches are set. The EEC switches as of ver .04 should already default to on. The other big issue is the loss of the route display on the ND, but the AP follows it precisely. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
July 6, 201213 yr I read it still does not have a flight director or mode indications on the PFD. thanks a milliion for this info , i was about to reach for my wallet The way to get it a little less iffy, is after you load it into FSX, Reload the aircraft. The other big issue is the loss of the route display on the ND, but the AP follows it precisely. the problem some like me may have with this is that, i save flights withpanel positions, reloading will restore panels to default positons. there is the new panel save restore tool though but never tried it. .
July 6, 201213 yr When all systems are there, i will be the first to announce it  Actually, that might be so close to the other version they risk people forgetting about it in a second Nah, that's being mean - I'd say in ~1 month the T7 will be just fine. Do you really have to cheerlead everything CS does, including this embarrassing public alpha testing where users have to PAY to help the company release a less bug filled product?
July 7, 201213 yr At least you know you are alpha/beta testing this product. There are a number of different software offerings that were released as finished products that are being beta tested as we speak.
July 7, 201213 yr I don't know much about Captain Sim T7 release . But i think the reason they release T7 to soon was because they want people to buy their product with what they did so far , an then threw time see the problems that client may have with their product . I mean they can test their product on their high tech computers but also remember not everyone has high tech computers . So what better way to release their product an see what problems people may have with it then making some correction . I know the bad thing is you have to buy it to try it . What they should have done is release some trail version for 10 days or something an see what user say about it then make some correction to their product . That is what i think but they have their reason for doing what they did. But you can expect CS T7 to get even more better from their correction threw time . That is why i haven't bought it yet am waiting for some good reports from user who have this product . July 7, 201213 yr How come that people buying a test version start complaining that is is not functioning completely ? The idea is to get involved in the developement of the aircraft. July 7, 201213 yr Do you really have to cheerlead everything CS does, including this embarrassing public alpha testing where users have to PAY to help the company release a less bug filled product? I'm not cheerleading anything. You are clearly informed of what you buy and if you buy this T7 and complain, then you have a problem. I happen to like most of their products because they're actually very good, so i don't mind talking about them in a good manner - What's wrong with that? There's quite a lot of people advertising MSFlight in these forums in a quite annoying manner, but i don't go in there because i dislike and disagree with most of what's discussed in there - If they like it, it's their problem. So, if you don't like these CS products, don't buy them. Sounds SO easy to me... And meanwhile, let me have fun with them please. July 7, 201213 yr So if captain sim inform his clients that the version they are purchasing is the test version why are people complaining. I really don't understand.
