September 14, 201213 yr But when will it be done? The last previews on the forum seem to be 2 years old! Updates on the facebook link, vids on this youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/fandaeuropecom Ryan Parry | Aircraft Dispatcher
September 14, 201213 yr I think PMDG should make the Air creation Trike YES!!! With a GLASS cockpit!!! :good:
September 15, 201213 yr Your all forgetting that Robert said "Planes that People will see at the airport" That means that we may see a A320 although flight sim labs are already doing one an that looks great, NLS is doing the A380, "are they still doing it?" Well i tell you they are still doing it, but are sick of being asked for release dates. hers a short list of what we see at airports 737, ng (done by pmdg) 747 V2 757, (old and many are scraping it) 767, Lvl D 777, will have it soon. 787 maybe A318-21 A330 A340 A380 Md11 E jets CRJ's have i missed some thing

September 16, 201213 yr PMDG can't make Boeings forever, at some point they've got to do an Airbus. They can say "We can't simulate it realistically enough and bla bla bla", no offence but that's a stupid excuse! No aircraft can be simulated 100% by PMDG, that's something they've got to accept. All that matters is that they've got to simulate it as realistically as they possibly can, and this is exactly what they did with the NGX. Weather radar, ACARS, DFDAU, all couldn't be modelled, but still they made the 737NGX. For Airbuses, I'm sure similar systems - or maybe a few more - can't be simulated (entirely), but just like with the NGX they should accept this and not let it keep them from making an Airbus! They shouldn't take realism THAT serious, as I said, they should just make an Airbus as realistically as they can, even though it can't be 100% realistic. But 90% of the people prefer a not entirely realistic Airbus over no Airbus at all. A PMDG flightsim. Would be have all your wishes com true Would be awesome! But do you realise how much of a budget they would need to model every part of the world including all +-25000 airports just like in FSX? Arjen Vandervelde
September 16, 201213 yr PMDG don't have to make an Airbus...that's where I think your wrong. FSLabs will make the buses. There are still other things PMDG can make. I actually think a regional jet would be a good choice. Cheers Lee Sent using Tapatalk
September 16, 201213 yr I really hope that FSlabs can pull this one out of the hat and they have proven themselves with Concorde so there is some hope. The Airbus community within FS is really in need of a detailed Bus and have witnessed far too many simplified aircraft and outright letdowns. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
September 16, 201213 yr PMDG never has to do an airplane other than Boeing again, if they decide so, and they can keep similar cycle length... Compare 737NG legacy and NGX, 747 V1 and 2,,, now they can do 777 and 747, then one other, maybe 75/67 or 787, and then it is time to do the NG again, maybe for a new flightsim platform... --Peter Fabian
September 17, 201213 yr Author well I tried out the QW BAE146 last night and was very impressed. For me, the minimum for an RPT is to have a working FMC which it does although not at the level of PMDG. I love variety and I'm hoping they consider this before redoing the same a/c over and over eg. the 747 v2. With so many a/c not done, I personally would have preferred to get my hands on a new previously-undone (or not well done) aircraft eg. Dash8 or B717 or something. My 747x works perfectly and does everything I want it to without worrying about switches in the upper corner overhead. J Thomas YBBN

The Airbus community within FS is really in need of a detailed Bus and have witnessed far too many simplified aircraft and outright letdowns. I'm confident FSL will pull through on the Airbus series, and it's currently my most anticipated product. I think PMDG have got a great choice of aircraft still available to them. I expect - and hope - they will do a B787 as a 757/767 won't make that much sense. I sincerely hope they do a regional turboprop (Dash8 or a great ATR72 model) and maybe some smaller regional jets (CRJ, E-Jets?). Karl Brooker
September 17, 201213 yr Author I also noted that Quality Wings is currently developing the B787 - their BAE-146 is pretty good so they'll be 'first to market' probably with this a/c. Would PMDG seriously consider doing the B787 that someone has already developed? I dunno...just asking. J Thomas YBBN
September 18, 201213 yr The QW 787 would be at least the third 787 out there (not to say they're all good, mind...) How many 737s had been released before NGX? I suspect if one was announced, many would simply hold on and fly their 73bus and 77bus in the meantime. (Ed... Got beaten to it...) Mike Dryden
